What is the agenda for tonight? I don't own any WTCC or GT3 cars. (No interest in them as I'm a GT2 Fan)

 

GTR3 @ Bathurst, If you own an ADAC car you should be able to get the GTR3 version for 49-79 vRP.

 

The Gt3 event will go ahead as planned afaik but what happens before and after that is pretty well free form. We generally just go with whatever some one particularly wants to drive since most of us are pretty happy with anything that goes vroom vroom. If you want a GT2 event scheduled just post on the group race requests thread and we'll set one up.

 

Ok. Well I'll see if I can pick up a cheap GT3 car from somewhere. What track mate?

 

Bathurst 2x20 min races I think. Should take about an hour to do. Matt set it up since he runs our servers. Details are under events at the RRNAUZ page. We get out in the GT2s regularly too, scheduled or otherwise.

Unless you're seriously fast you'll be joining me in a game of follow Bert (nipzon) around the mountain. He told me his leaderboard time for a GT3 there and it's out of my league.

 

I have one weakness, I fold under pressure....

Couldn't help but notice our mystery man Redna1l has a 2:02 at the mountain in a Gt2 Bert. There may be some of that pressure, not for me of course tootling along at the back like Noddy and Big Ears out for a Sunday drive.

Are we choosing from the ADAC 2014 GT3's as well as from the GT3 class? What will the server be set up for? I know they're all GT3's but I find the ADAC McClaren handling different to the GT3 McClaren.

Edit: See now it will be the GT3's so I might grab anothe make

 

It will be Gt3s, although GM wants Matt to include the GT3 Mustang in American Nationals in the mix. I feel the GT3 Audi isn't as fast as the Adac 14 one, so you'll have to go with the GT3 McLaren I'd say, otherwise I'd want the '14 ADAC Audi too.

 

I can add the mustang if your all happy, is it faster or about the same?

It's an awful bus, that's the impression I got from a very short run in mine. Awful brakes and cumbersome was my impression, but I only did a lap or two. GM may not be able to make it anyway, said he had to get an early night, work tomorrow and all that. Bert will probably make it work though. Add it I reckon, I sure can't drive it well enough to be tempted.

 

I watched the replay of the second race last night to see what had happened to Brodie Steen during the race and saw that I gave him a shunt at Griffins Bend. Going up Mountain Straight Brodie's car was flashing infront of me like he had terrible lag and then disappeared all together before the bend. a Couple laps later I noticed him in fourth I think, so I would like to apologize for that incident as it is not the way I race.
