How pronounced wheel rumble over the curbs? Is it similar to what's in RRE? In RRE, I always feel it through the wheel, but in ACC I often can hear the sound of riding over the curbs without any actual wheel feedback and when I actually do get the feedback, it is barely coming through. Can you share your default settings please? Perhaps unrelated, but ACC sees my Fanatec V3 pedals by default, but not TX wheel (it's in the lower right corner of the screen if I'm not mistaken; I'm not on my computer right now). I'm almost tempted to do a fresh install of ACC just to see if anything fixes itself (wishful thinking)...
Sorry, your new question about R3E's FFB reminded me that I completely forgot about this. Here are my settings (not exactly default by now): I reduced both the gain and dynamic damping, because the wheel became way too heavy in fast corners for my liking.
No worries, I ended up upgrading to Fanatec CSW. I appeciate you posting anyway, hopefully it helps someone. Funny that things have reversed now - ACC FFB is nice with CSW, but some of the cars in RRE are now lacking.
Balrog thankst for the screenshot of your Acc setup. Will test them out to see how it feels on my wheel which is the Trustmaster TMX Leather Edition wheel version
I really enjoy ACC more and more. The amount of detail and simulation aspects they work with is incredible. That's the result of sticking to ''just'' one race class and simulate the sh*t out of it wouldn't be possible with 50 car classes and 300 cars. Also it's so easy to find a online lobby to race with. Had so many good races in a row now it blows my mind That also would not happen if you have many car classes and tracks.
Its a first in business that somebody simulates changes in track surface from one season to the next, with physical effect. And as Aris explained in an interview recently, aliens find it very difficult to abuse the sim character of the game for producing lap times 5, 6, 7 seconds faster than real world times: they must usually obey the track's nature and the laws of tech engineering and of physics and race in the same time envelope like real drivers. No lap times minus 8 seconds anymore.
Wow works flawless. I don’t know what they did but even in 7680x1440 it runs with 60fps when I have the settings set to high. (Set to epic is just a step to high for my system at this res. Perhaps in 5760x1080 it will run ok with settings set to epic.) The view is Cristal clear. Finally it start to look awesome . I only wish I could turn off the steering wheel and drivers arms. They look way to big and are a distraction. Thumbs up for this update.
^ In VR, the proportions look absolutely natural. Maybe you are seating your virtual altrer ego too close to the windshield and wheel. Move it back.
A real Blancpain GT3 driver driving his virtual alter ego in ACC and commenting. His comment on FOV made me chuckle. Me too thought, when I still was playing on single screen instead of VR, that it was very much an overheated debate issue.
you just have to change the view, you have third person, cockpit with steeringwheel + arms and one without them
This was a big update. -triple screens now work flawlessly -new McLaren is amazing -Zandvoort excellent -sound continues to be best in business -ffb is a little different. Maybe less dampening and more vertical force. I like it I think. -Porsche sound in 6th is spot on. -visually it’s better for FPS but they reduced the car LOD so there’s a compromise. Not sure how many will complain.
Well a bit less LOD on the cars is no problem for me. I’m happy I now can play ACC on my triple setup without looking at a slide show. It runs very smooth now.
This level of details is amazing. Sitting in the cockpit looks f'in real... thats the way aha aha i like it
