Beautiful new GT3 cars

you're absolutely right relating to the liveries. Zackspeed isn't the first choice.
But I refered to the model only, just the shape, the silhouette. I should have written, see post #9.
Anyway, I think there are more beautiful, some you delivered yourself.

That SOUND !!!

 

One that often gets overlooked is the Lexus LFA GT3. Not saying it's the prettiest because it isn't, although a good looking car in its own way. Makes a surprisingly glorious noise though. Saw one at Goodwood last year.

 

Maybe it's one of the slowest at the moment ^^ But yeah - a very interesting car... will be interesting to see, how it will be developed this year. Hopefully it becomes a good competitor in the next year and refreshes the Lineup a bit together with the new Acura NSX...

 

Lexus are actually bringing out a new GT3 car this year for the IMSA Weathertech series. It's supposed to debut around halfway through the season. New models often has the fun repercussion of making older models easier to license

 

The sound of the M6 against the Z4 is very lame!

 

Looks awesome, shame I find the Merc hard to drive in R3E, especially as it sounds great and has a custom interior...

Not sure how up-to-date that livery is, but they're certainly racing in the Blancpain GT series this year: http://www.blancpain-gt-series.com/car/38/aston-martin-vantage-v12-gT3

I suspect the chance of seeing this in R3E this year is slim, though, as there's been no announcement about licencing with Aston Martin

Lots of love for Aston Martin from me. They produce the most beautiful cars.

Would love to have one in the GTR3 class (I wouldn't drive anything else) but it seems AM commands prohibitively expensive licensing costs.

 

Sadly I suspected as much. BTW there's lots more information about pictures of the race GT3 Aston Martin on the manufacturer's website. Apparently it uses a modified version of Aston Martin’s production 6.0 litre V12 engine, I bet that would sound glorious in R3E!

Would love to have some astons in R3E - atleast the GTE and GT3, but wouldn't mind the old DBR9 GT1. The Sound of these cars are just awesome...

 

If Assetto Corsa can buy a license, surely R3E can.

 

Luckily sector 3 has already licensed the bmw m6 and mclaren 650s. Iracing has the newest audi and mercedes amg, I like them quite a bit, so i'd love to see them in r3e. But I only drive the mercedes with htp #85 livery From watching the last two blancpain races, the new audi is insanely popular. At silverstone there were quite a few lambos and ferraris on track(52 car grid), But i'm sure a license for those is a pita. Let alone how much real data ferrari or lamborghini would give to a dev. There was only 1 jag in the race, 1 aston martin, 2 nissan gtr's.

 

Only two Porsche's too - both Porsche 911 GT3 R. There seemed to be loads of Ferraris (both 458 and 488) and Lamborghini Huracan GT3s, but I can't see the license for any of these 3 marques coming to R3E anytime soon, which is a shame, as R3E has an otherwise phenomenal GT3 line-up. Maybe Aston Martin more freasible, though?
