Yeah true but in R3E it is totally imperceptible and yet irl g-forces do throw you forward and push you back a little even in a harness. For instance in pCars & Assetto it is fully configurable.

Did the above changes and it is much better. Just need to do it for all cars now!

Well I can't talk for you of course but, especially in the open wheelers, I can see quite some forward/backward movement when accelerating/braking. It's hard to notice while concentrating on the driving but if you just accelerate down a straight, then brake and pay attention you should see some movement (the stronger the car the more obvious, so FR2 should show a stronger effect than the NSU).

Sorry for not being clear, I meant he will get the forward / backward effect when increasing the head movement, not the actual exact same motion as the vid.

I don't like those effects and never use them.
Because they are tied to the throttle / brake input from the pedals/ triggers, not the actual G-force..
If it would follow the G-forces I mostly would have used them though.

Yeah, for sure it's there in R3E, just subtler, maybe more realistic. Forza's movement is definitely exaggerated (combined with wide (?) FOV—short focal length anyway), but I always found it really informative, to help "feel" when the car starts to slow.

Glad you guys feel some effect but I really do not notice it and if possible I would crank it right up to match my motion sim movements.

Have you set a button to the camera motion in the key bindings?
I notice it even when changing those with just a few %..

Which lines would I tweak to get more lateral headmovement through corners?
I am looking for an effect similar to AMS

    Cheers

Yeah I did that and sure there is cockpit movement but not head movement forwards and backwards that I can see, that is just a limitation of how it works for what I can understand.

I use 8.00000000 60.00000000 8.00000000 in the car view folder.
Makes it quite similar to AMS movement, especially in the old cars with extra loose suspension.

Hmm my settings are quite different, will try those and see if the lateral head movement comes into play.
