Same for me also, started about an hour ago. I can get in game.raceroom
No problem, I can even access leaderboard, cannot get into the game even with my username and password.

Me too. I really wish S3 would remove this online server link requirement. Quite vexing when my ISP goes kablooey for a while, or when this happens.

On a more positive note, does this ever happen before a major update? Just looking for a silver lining, here.
