    Hi Folks,

can someone please give me a hint how to fix this:
there is a custom DOF / focus settings stuck somewhere and this affects my in-car rear view as it is all blurry,
as well as my replay cams. Adjusting the DOF whilst in replay didn't fix this issue, the same settings still are applied every time I start the game.

    Your help is much appreciated.

    Exit from the game.

Go to your C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\raceroom racing experience\Game\GameData\Cars folder and delete the folder of whichever car is giving you the trouble (make a copy just in case).

Restart R3E and it will rebuild that folder to its default values. Fingers crossed it should all be back to normal.

Try validating your game files in Steam.

Then you should try resetting your graphics settings by renaming the file "Documents\My Games\SimBin\RaceRoom Racing Experience\UserData\graphics_options.xml".

    nope, doesn't solve it either.
the same goes for shadercache, hudoptions.
    another look at the issue:

Did you already disable the motion blur effect in the graphics settings?

yes. but the out-of-focus status/blurryness is independent of the motion blur effect, since it's there even if the car is at a standstill and I'm simply looking back, or if you are looking at the cars from a camera outside of the cars.
