I've been able to squeeze out a touch more from the CPU with a decent cooler, but it looks like this is the maximum I can get out of it with stock/automatic settings.

The only way I see now for you to improve that CPU score is to go for 3200c14 kit and OC it to the timings we use with Thomas 3666 c14-15-14-28

Complete timings and memory settings :

I let Discord host my pictures :p I just send the picture to a friend or a bot and then copy the link, like this one: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/386304980836941826/602897382731939893/unknown.png

Quite a change, were you running a CPU stresstest in the background? :D

@Thomas Jansen No I actually had CPU-z in behind the benchmark hiding like a 3 year old and a monitoring program called Side bar Diagnostics that is supposed to show "live info" of the CPU GPU Memory and Internet.
Closed them both and BOOM that much better numbers!!!!

Well I wouldn't be using that :eek:diagnostic program anymore! Get HWINFO64 to do the monitoring, CPUz doesn't hurt performance much unless you where running it's benchmark or stress test at the same time o_O

This is fun, anyone feel like doing the same test but for GPU's?

I think those results would be much more straightforward than this :D I think a more interesting thing to try is to come up with a way to benchmark raceroom itself, both in 2D and in VR. Would be quite difficult I think.

This whole thread is a sure way to make you hate your CPU. (Well, at least in some cases.)

    :( ;)

I'm really surprised how competitive my 3600 is :D, but there must be something else behind it, I have it installed on an m.2 SSD, wonder if that starts to make a difference at these insane frame rates.
