Well, been a bit surprised about his settings (Zandvoort I use more downforce too) specially bout very stiff suspension something I don't like that much in general BUT as you can hear from Danni`s comments setups are still a personal thing connected to your individual driving style.
Neverthelesss I give it a shot with more wing and stiffer suspension...

Yea I was tbh, at somewhere like Zandy I would have thought softer setup, those race laps I posted I ran 3/16 wings but tbh I prefer lower, seems to take of that corner exit oversteer better

For that I came to soften dampers & changing toe settings actually and it worked great (altered anti- rollbar settings as well) - specially in the middle section - well many ways lead to Rome....and the fastest might not be the most comfortable one.

hmmm, thats interesting - my fastest times came with softer rear and less wing...back to the drawing board:eek:

edit - 1:33.4 using some of these tips.....must have been windy today on my lap:rolleyes:

I think the thing that interests me most outside of car setup is the steering setup, you watch how little the steering wheel moves in this video and how fast and smooth he go's through the corners, I watched a 29 lap the other day from 2014 that was exactly the same, I'm hitting full on lock with the car near enough and nowhere near as fast or smooth, there's no way I can turn in like them, their front end point's and go's, I'm missing something somewhere and when I find it I find my 2 secs

Allright, I simply doubled damper values (keeping the ratio)and gave a click more wing ét voila : gained half a second (1:31.4 so far) without much effort.
    Works for me....

I don't think I've got the energy to bother trying, finished shift this morning and been up 30 hours now, I'll have a blast tomorrow

I managed to bump in a 1:31.1 last night, losing about .5 on the last 2 sectors atm may play with it a bit more at the weekend

Thats a decent time for sure - I am ahead on time until that last hairpin complex. I make a dogs breakfast of that tight right/left all the time.

Yea that bit get's me everytime, I always struggled at this track though, thing is you can slam a car around here and really enjoy those corners and I tend to get a bit to much into it so I'm finding backing off a bit hard lol
