Great race guys and thanks for putting this together!
Could have done without the kids distracting me....around lap 4 my daughter pulled a shelf down resulting in 3 cut track penalties in 4 turns than with 3 laps left she threw a bottle at me causing me to drive onto the grass on a straight lol
Sure hope these cars make it into an upcoming series as there absolutely fantastic!

Lol too funny cars have my vote and new pit stops are epic although be warned everyone should practice them !!!!

 

It was a fun race until i decided to pit early to try and get an advantage on @David Slute (he would have beat me anyway) and found out i had no key assigned for Ignition, starter and confirm. I really enjoyed the TTrs thou its a monster

 

so the drop in race is at 5 today?

 

So I'm guessing everyone turned off the pit limiter at the first pit exit line. I suspected that it was the last line during practice.

Hopefully next race will have a bigger turn up. Was fun as long as it lasted and for myself I got to work on my pace without chasing anyone or having someone chasing me. That's always something...

Yeah, I was DQ'd bc of that, but I was so off the pace it wouldn't have mattered much....been struggling with the GTR3 a bit.

Do you have problems with setup or just driving them in general?

 

I haven't driven them in a while, and the Merc seems really heavy to me, well most of them are, so I kept coming into corners too fast. I just couldn't get the feel right. I did a bit more practicing afterwords and I was doing slightly better, so I think it is just a practice thingy. I was ok with the merc a year ago, but haven't driven it since.

I also bumped the preload up to 4 and felt better.

 

I'm with you. I myself noticed a while ago that I was overdriving the shit out of most cars, mainly the GT3 class cars. I've been playing simulators somewhat seriously for over a decade but only recently learned how to brake correctly and now I'm down around 1-2 seconds off my previous maximum pace.

Slowing down, hitting the apexes and keeping it clean made wonders.
