Not bad..not bad at all.It doesnt have the refinement of R3E,especially the precision and delicacy of car controls(in other words, controls are more forgiving) but the basics are there.Understeer on exit can be felt as also wheelspin on acceleration and braking gets the rear loose albeit easily controllable. Its free so its alright for a free game.
i dabbled with it quickly with a pad just feels like another forza game..Visuals pretty good.. No ultra wide support yet. Sure it will get there. You can see this title brings the money in can't you?
I'm away on holiday until next week, but whenI get back will give this a go with my XBox Elite controller.
I only tried once, but the game crashed in the second corner with the message "The NVIDIA kernel is not responding." My GTX960 is not enough for this task, I guess... Ah, I found the problem, the default resolution was actually higher than my actual screen resolution, that's what caused the issue. Game looks stunning, but not really impressed with the rest... I'm waiting for steering wheel support.
after some laps with different cars and different conditions I would say it is much fun to drive, but after wheel support and ffb feeling I can say if it is good or waste of time. There are still much things missing. No head motion support, no fov settings, no qualifying or classic race weekend... But graphics are really nice and the game runs very smooth on my pc.
I just happened to see this and I basically turned off and smashed my speakers repeatedly with a giant Warhammer of fury +10
Tried it tonight, and it works pretty well with the controller, but i would have prefered to try it out with my g27 wheel and pedals. My computer is a intel i7-3770, 16gb ram and a Nvidia 680gfx card. I had to turn all details to minimum to get near the 60fps goal. Still looks ok though. Did a quick video of night, rain and dry conditions (never mind the really bad driving though) :
Worst thing, i do, but its been ages since i last drove forza (forza 4 on the 360) and it just felt more than a bit awkward...
