Experienced some freezes @ Spa while attending the WTCC competition. They seem to appear when I loose the car and slide sideways. Have to reset the system then. If the solution to that sounds somehow like "don't loose your car" I don't want to hear it
Happened for me too while Audi vs Benz competition. I set a new best time, followed my ghost and after chapel curve it was over.
This happened during the DTM leaderboard challenge at Zandvoort twice, along with a multiplayer race (dump file).
yes this happened to me too, thought it might have been my PC .. ha, nope.. also i find the mouse hangs for a little bit while in the garage. really irritating.
Could you guys give a little more info on what exactly happens, what you do to make the game crash? We tried reproducing this, but so far none of us experienced a crash. Also could you attach your crash dump files here please.
Dear guys from Sector 3, I have more than 3100 hours in the game, nearly 20,900 Laps, for over 192,000 Km Distance and for 104 days. For the first time, I have to determine that after each Update there is one other problem, for the first time in all the time, the game crashes!!! ??? Now for some reason, I do not find my crash files back ??? I really believe that you are doing your best, but that starts to be annoying. I hope you fix this as quickly as possible
Hmm...Tried the WTCC Slovakia comp this morning and it didn't freeze. Any particular car maybe or sth else that's noteworthy?
Michigami Honda. While going sideways (squeaking of the tires went on and on an on and on... and on while screen was frozen)
I picked a Honda (not sure which livery) and tried going sideways, crashing, causing cut detection events, before and after setting a valid laptime, with and without ghost or the race line enabled. But it wouldn't crash or freeze. some other guys tried various competitions as well, but they couldn't reproduce it either. Have you validated the games cache files? Maybe some corrupted files interfere with things? When you try that same car-track combo in training or any other "normal" game mode it doesn't freeze?
Same for me, just a freeze, have to kill Windows session, no crash dump. Problem doesn't happen every time, but if you play 2 hours on a WTCC leaderboard there's a chance to see a freeze. It didn't happen today.
