gizzy squeezes a 2:01:286 to beat previous record by 2 sec, but in r3e its 2 minutes dead. gtr and ford gt need better bop
those cars are 2-4 seconds faster than the ones we are driving based of 2014 spec which seems to be what we have. (the ones they drove for bathurst were 2015 spec)
Not only that, the car that set the lap record was the McLaren 650S, not the McLaren MP4-12C (which is the one in R3E).
Sorry for leaving the discussion a bit. It was asked some times ago, but I think it was not answered finally. Maybe I missed. Will there be a GTR3 car pack? I bought almost every GT3-car already once at least in ADAC 13/14. 16 is just around the corner. I know actually it's about the liverys. But a pack offers some discount.
Not sure that the GT3s were that quick in a straight line; the Cobra Coupé thing was quickest at just over 300kph
Don't know where speed trap was set, but fastest GT3s had little over 280km/h there. I guess it could be before The Chase, because there is recording from last year where Ferrari 458 hits 285km/h
Pretty much, and if the ford is easier to drive, the people who are slower should see a bigger gap between the cars.
This shall not be provocative, but where do you draw the line? Looking at the leaderboards usually less than 10 - 15 percent are within + 1 sec of the fastest. So the remaining 85 to 90 percent shouldn't care if they won't get wellbalanced cars?
One of my favorite things about this list right here is it perfectly shows just how different styles suit the cars. I don't have explicitly tested lap times, but I couldn't get the Camaro or the Ford GT to work for me around Spa. I actually set my best times, by over a second, in the BMW Alpina!
One of the key things when judging balance between cars is not how fast of an alien pace you can go, but how consistent you can be with the variety of cars. That said, a 0.7s spread over 10 different cars is very minimal. That is very consistent driving and good data to use when gauging performance. The follow up link that @SVG BIOSPORT posted showed his Lakeview hillclimb times for a variety of cars. Notice anything about those as well? They are all pretty darn close together (per class). He is a very consistent driver. I would put his data up against someone else's comments about a certain car being OP any day. Currently, Im working on getting lap times for the various cars like I mentioned above, just to provide some more data. Taking a while though, but I only have a few cars left right now. The results so far? Ford is 3rd-4th fastest right now at Zandy. Overall, the cars are quite close with around a 0.5s spread between them... Along with that darn RUF which is my outlier that I cant get to the same pace as the others Any chance of getting some numbers from you @Max? You are still just talking about how slow everyone is... being 5 seconds or more off alien pace, without actually providing any real evidence beyond words. From all the testing done for the BoP for the cars, I dont think anyone has seen this dramatic Ford being 2 seconds faster spread that you are describing.
Don't you get it nate? Everyone who doesn't agree that has You have to accept the fact that you're obviously just as incompetent as everybody else who doesn't think it's overpowered.
