You may wish to experiment with different values. One thing to note: the damping effect actually decreases with higher values. The original poster on RaceDepartment states that the useful range is 5-50, with 5 giving effectively no 'horizon bounce' and 50 giving a very subtle effect, almost the same as the default cockpit view. Going beyond 50 is largely pointless.

I'm still experimenting but 30, 0, 30 or 40, 0 ,40 seems to be where I'm at with it. You still get some movement of the horizon but it takes the edge off it so it's less fatiguing on the eyes. Try 5, 0, 5 first to get the full effect then go from there. Remember, the three numbers are pitch, yaw, roll from left to right, so if you just want to reduce the horizon bouncing up and down but want the roll effect then try 5, 0, 0, for example.

Tried 35, 100, 35 on the Mercedez SLS and I like the way that feels a lot. The 100 still gives a tiny bit of yaw versus being locked forward rigid. It'd be great for them to add this to the menus, because going through and doing this to every car I like would be a pain.

My sweet spot is 10.00000000 50.00000000 10.00000000 if you like to try.
I set the roll to 10.00000000, cause when the rare occations happens and you do a rollover, setting the value over 10 will look wierd.
Like you are sitting in the car without a seat belt and get thrown into the ceiling for a moment..:D

It's tedious to cut and paste all cars, but it's worth it!
An option slider should be implemented though, so that more people could find this option..
Makes it a whole new game, at least for me. :)

Not 100 % sure but if I'm not mistaken the camera files are the same in all car folders, same names and content, so you can simply copy that file once and paste it into every cars folder.

I just run a multiplayer race, and I think this game is crying aloud for a system like minorating.

    I really miss weather.
I would love to race in rain.
Anyone know something about if weather is coming somewhere in the future.
It have not to be dynamic , I only would like to have the ability to drive at rain.
Yes it would be nice too if it is dynamic but one step after the other.

Not really an official confirmation yet but we will almost certainly see wet tracks in R3E in the future. The not so close future I'm afraid.

But if you're looking for some bad weather, come visit Germany, it's ghastly outside. ;)

If you use the "crewchief V3" you wont need an ap to spot where other cars are around you as he will tell you, i have it and use it allways :)

The multiplayer really need a system to encourage clean races. The most of us like simrace, not this...

not sure if this has been suggested, but an official "rolling start" option with a warm up lap would be great - I think this would help a bit with first corner wrecks in MP.

yes i've been watching more racing lately- notice "wow, the first corner IS a real mess in real life". mainly noticed drivers using the grass to get through it, and of course all the contact. The typical MP start is this x3

Yep. It depends on the series, but even the top-tier series have turn 1 problems semi-regularly. I always chuckle a bit when sim racers complain about things like this and think to myself "they must not watch much real-world racing". :p It would be nice to avoid it completely, and it's possible to get through turn 1 without any problems but usually only if everyone on the grid puts clean racing as their #1 priority and winning as their #2 priority.
