A sack of rice fell off in china !!! Again !!
this twin peaks pie is a lie... the piece doesn't even fit in .. just look at the zigzag lines
I don't get this thread but here you have it...
May 21st will mark the day Twin Peaks makes its comeback.
Can't believe my luck.
Any other TP fans on here?
See you at the Great Northern, may the Giant be with you.
Jim's Dad afterwords: "Well, we just tell your mother, that the ... that the ... we eaten up all!"
I love American Pie 1 - 4! So much fun and deep human relationship together in one movie! F**king great! Just a masterpiece!
I'm sceptical of everything new. But I'll give it a try. Have been some time since I watched the original series.
The chance for disappointment is huge, there's almost no way season 3 will be regarded as great as the original two. On the other hand Lynch and Frost had a third season planned back in 1992 I think, just ABC got cold feet at the last minute and pulled it.
But going back there with almost (sadly Frank Silva can't play Bob anymore) the complete original cast will be phenomenal.
I watched the whole thing for the fourth time in the past weeks to get up to speed and it didn't disappoint, again.
Everything about it feels right, it's so well paced (slow paced) but at the same time so much happens in every episode, the characters are the most original, captivating I've ever seen, best thing produced for TV ever.
I just hope the new episodes will feature similiar cinematics and the same level of weirdness, but if there's anything Lynch can do, it's weirdness, just think of his rabits project or him giving advice on how to cook quinoa.
And the trailers do look promising.
Uh...ok NOW I understand your initial post - tho I 've never been caught by the Twinpeaks Fever which explains my ignorance
PS : Guess, with this, it's time for another thread called "Great Shows", isn't it ?
Gorgeous cryptic marketing campaign, those billboards popped up around places in the US that have significance for the story of TP, as has the cherry pie of course.
Sure, why not have a TV shows thread. But I urge everyone to give Twin Peaks a chance, watch the first season, it's only 8 episodes.
The resurrection of X-Files was a bit weird, first Episode to put the whole conspiracy stuff into place (and rounding it up) and the rest was, well, typical X-files but "a bit weird"
Diane please remind me of Twin Peaks on May 21st
Anybody who played Alan Wake?
The third episode, Mulder and Scully Meet the Were-Monster, was by far the best episode and was classic X-Files. Really really enjoyed that one.
Yeah, back when it came out I had a go. And just like X-Files I found it amazing how TP had influenced the mystery genre and storytelling in general.
Dale, I still have all those audio transcriptions lying around in my office.
Sending them over to you for reviewing, bear in mind that the pages aren't in their correct order just yet.
#38 on NME's Best of 1990s List
Thank God Angelo Badalamenti is on board again, this soundtrack was so essential to the overall feel of the series.
Talks about how him and Lynch developed the theme:
Showtime released a trailer with scenes from the 2017 town of Twin Peaks:
Already love the Fat Trout Trailer Park.
And a funny little Twin Peaks calling mashup of the original series:
This is getting unbearable.
They also released their schedule info and all 18 episodes will run in one go, with the 2 hour season finale airing on September, 3.
Mind the owls.
Oh my log.
