Was bummed cause I was looking forward to running you off the track again like I seem to do every race.

 

I caused a few wrecks last night....lose the back end on the Honda and all hell breaks lose when you get a slow down penalty in the process.

 

I've been only able to attend the Salzburg race (#2)and it lasted one lap only LOL!
I crashed against the bloody concrete pillar of the first chicane and the engine died there... Booo. I wish I could have watched the rest of the race from the garage.

Well races yesterday went nicely Congrats to @shardshunt very good pace on Bathurst with your tictac! I spent most of the time chasing another dude (forgot his name) but never manged to overhang him as he was driving very defensively and... I didn't want to risk too much. Then I received a few bumps, some doorslam and got a bit unnerved. So yeah, it was fun but some bitter aftertaste... Then my mood compromised gtrx at hocken from the very start... It has been my very first quit ever... Sorry for leaving the track!

PS : p4/5 engineers just wanted their pilots to die in that car. Windshield the size of the rear view mirror and concrete beams jutting from your seat in between your legs. That's what I call great visibility!

 

Emilio are you using triple screen ?
There is a way to make that car ... Manageable in cockpit view. but you need to play with the Xml file ( under car / camera folder ) Cockpit_driver_view.xml ( or the triple view file )
The line is <fov type="float32">58.00000000</fov> change that number and move your seat around.
I do that on certain car where the cam just isn't working for me.

It was a great race I count the number of times me and Magnus exchanged position 2.

Anyway I had to move my seat all the way ahead to see actually "something"... but even then... I didn't enjoy at all the 2nd race. Out of frustration I went on the internet and bought two games: Shadow of Mordor and Uplink.

I'll hack @James Nance computer and add some massive deadzone to his wheel...

But back on the view topic give it a try, play with the view. It gave me a way better view in the Dtm ( I felt it was way too far back.
