Some V8 Supercar (Volvo & Ford I seem to remember) license was announced ages ago - can you update us on what is happening there? Thanks.
They did already some month ago... short conclusion: there was no License-Announcement, just a sneak preview - V8 Supercar didn't happen at the moment, as no license-agreement exist.
We have already a lot of FRs - Formula RaceRooms ... so it's time for some TCRs - Touring Car RaceRooms
Totally agree - rather than more openwheelers, I'd like to some entry level touring cars Or classic GTs
A lot? I'm not sure how you classify 3 total open wheel cars amidst 30+ GT and touring cars to be 'a lot'...
Formula RaceRoom 1 / Formula One = announced Formula RaceRoom Classic / Formula One 60s style = announced Formula RaceRoom 2 / Formula 3000 / GP2 = released Tatuus F4 Cup / Formula 4 = released Formula RaceRoom Junior / Formula Ford = released Formula RaceRoom U.S. / IndyCar / CART = announced (hopefully 2003 CART cars ) Enough?
As tongue-in-cheek as I think you're being at this point, it's worth noting just announced GT cars (not counting any of the cars currently in R3E): McLaren 650S Mercedes-Benz AMG Audi R8 LMS BMW M6 Audi TT VLN BMW M235i KTM X-Bow So the grand total of open wheelers, including 3 unreleased ones, don't even equal the currently announced crop of GT cars. I can fully understand people who want different things, but saying there are a lot of open wheel cars already, or even coming, is just...silly. For my own edification I counted the unique cars currently in R3E. GT: 38 R8; Z4; Camaro; C6R; Ford GT; SLS AMG; GT-R; MP4-12C; Bentley; Audi TT; Audi 90 Quattro; Mustang IMSA; 300ZX; Saleen; RUF; CTS-V; M3; B6; Mustang GT3; P4-5; Gumpert; Koenigsegg; Zonda; Ruf CTR3; C25; SLR 722; 320 Turbo; Greenwood; Dekon; Fabcar; Silvia Turbo; Skyline 2000RS; Zakspeed; SLK; Judd; NSU TT; Procar; Silhouette Touring: 19 Audi V8 DTM; M3 Sport Evo; Mustang GT DTM; 190E Evo II; Opel Omega; Audi DTM; Merc DTM; BMW DTM; 635 CSI; M3 E30 Gr.A; GT-R R32; Volvo 240; E90 320 WTCC; Cruze WTCC; Civic WTCC; Granta WTCC; Leon WTCC; Elysee WTCC; Vesta WTCC Prototype: 9 Aquila; Audi R18; DMD P20; Mistral M530; Chevy DP; SR9 AER; SR9 Judd; DMD P21; Mistral M531 All of which are still more than the 3 current and 3 planned open wheel cars.
Yeah bring on more Open Wheelers, I like to have more purple indicated cars ingame, makes me look less mad (not) buying every stuff that has been released
So, about the release dates of the upcoming GT3s. Are we getting the cars in the same order of the announcement? IICR the order was: Mclaren 650s, BMW M6, Mercedes AMG and Audi R8 LMS
Hmm...not trying to argue but generally unsure...Would you really classify the X-Bow RR as a GT car? I know it's not an open-wheeler in the common sense of the term, but I'd rather rate it as open-wheels than GT, mainly cause there's no bodywork or housing above the wheels.
Yeah, me too, this X-Bow GT4: But the one coming to RR is the X-Bow RR As above, I'm not sure how to flag this, but the lack of a roof plus the (more or less) open wheels incl. pushrod suspension make it hard for me to see it as a GT.
