yeah.. pretty much the same aside from minimal changes in front wheel width and front brake disc width and diameter. oh and it can carry 5L more fuel.
More or less yeah... some refinements here and there but thats it... It was the same with the road-version of both cars. The 650s was a facelifted mp4-12c to fit in the new mclaren roadcar-family together with the P1 and the 570s which was released a bit later...
Not that I think it's all that likely but they did heavily discount the Audi TT 2016 if you owned the 2015s. So hey, never know.
Don't think that'll happen. Audi TT and the GT3 type classes are a different story cause it's actually the same car models in different classes. Here however, the models are seperate, they will be in the same class after all, so I'd be surprised to see a linked discount.
Yeah I'm not really expecting it to come discounted. It's not S3's fault McLaren released what is basically just a rebranded car with some minor tweaks. I'm still looking forward to it, the thing is a beast. I just hope we see a Garage 59 livery.
You're quite right I'm sure, it's all a bit of blur when it comes to preview shots lately post GTR3, pCARS2 reveals and a steady stream of other news, but GOOD, consider me sold. And I know they M6 has been shown with the Rowe livery too so there's another drainage of my vRP
I would like a P1 GTR for the awesome rear body which is perfect with the 650 front lines. It roxxxxx... For this model it's like if the front of the 650 merged with the rear of the MP4-12C. Two parts realized by two different designers.
Raced yesterday in the old McLaren to see the new Display. Is it just me or is the display hardly readable? Not to small?
It's small yes, but I find it very readable. I really like the different pages of data displays. Having the relative time display up I now run with the whole UI disabled, super immersive.
Not sure how they would change them to be honest. The displays are the real life displays meant to fit a spot in the dashboard that is only so big, and that hole is based on CAD data. So making the displays bigger would be unrealistic and may not pass manufacturer approvals. You could try decreasing your field of view, to have a more life like view in the cockpit. Small computer screens and high FoV are a recipe for disaster when trying to read a small display sadly.
Yep, I run 0.5 FoV myself. Then again I have headtracking which helps alot when apexhunting at lower FoV. And to see displays, one of the reasons I was so against the old generics.
