Steam seemed to be saving my screenshots when I hit F12 (as advised) but R3E crashed as I was taking one. Perhaps it's something to do with me disabling the Steam overlay. I have used the screenshot function when watching a replay - that works fine and sends the resulting screenshot to my R3E profile. But I'm so stupid. I can't get hold of a jpeg (or any other format) file to put on my hard drive so that I can edit and paste it. I'm sure the answer is very simple but my brain refuses to co-operate.
When you have taken a screenshot in game (F12) and uploaded it to steam, then go to your steam account page and find that screenshot, or on the activity page. Press on the picture twice (not a fast doubleclick at the same time, but one click and then once again to make the picture even bigger), then you will find something like this up in the left corner of the pic: http://images.akamai.steamuserconte...315/F30E94784396E9AAC6F454540478579675601D73/ Then press the Image button here on the forum, between the Smilie and Media button, cut and paste the steam pic image adress in there, press insert and then post the reply.
All screenshots taken with the in-game function (F12, with Steam screenshots disabled) should be stored as jpeg's in your windows picture folder (C:\Users\abc\Pictures\SimBin\Captures)
