Raceroom... can we talk?

Let's not fall into the curse of knowledge, though. Just because there is, on paper, a way to report a player, doesn't mean all's fine and dandy and no reason to complain. Especially making a strawman ("a big REPORT button which automatically creates a perfect replay of an incident and sends it to R3Es stewards with no effort required from the player") and shifting the blame on players makes little sense when the method to report a player is actually "1) check sticked threads, 2) find nothing, 3) make a correct guess that there's still a way to report a player, you just have to dig further, 4) run a search on the forum, 5) find your instruction somewhere in the middle of a discussion, 6) guess how to "tag a mod" correctly, 7) proceed doing what Andi said".

Create a thread how to report a player.
Stick it.
Mention it in the game.

Only then one can reasonably say "Devs did what they can, now it's players' turn to report bad behaviour".

 

I feel we have reached a balance of opinions in here , so i shall do the decent thing and close this thread..... before we get unbalanced again ..thanks
