Very close racing until now. All Toyotas and Porsches on the same lap (pity for the Audis falling behind on mechanical problems.)Great battle also in GTE Pro between the No82Ferrari and the 66,68,69 Ford GTs. Edit 01:35 CESTPorsche No1 is essentially out. Looks like its time for Toyota to break their curse. Problems for 66 and 69 Ford, 82 Ferrari clear leader.P.S.Massive respect to the quadriplegic driver Frederick Sausset being very competitive dispite the physical limitations.

totally unbelievable... that came out of nowhere... very very sad for Toyota. They had really deserved it... congrats to porsche - they were very lucky.
Hope that No5 can finish that last lap so they would be at least on 3rd pos.
Not to blame the Porsche-Guys... I guess they didn't realized what exactly happend in the first moment as they calm down very quick...

 

well, it's 24 h of pain.
When they realized, what had happened, they were shocked as well.

 

Very sad... Now it is official that Toyota No.5 isn't even classified as the can't finished the race...

 

The curse strikes again... Absolute cruelty on the last lap in the main straight...Loss of words..

 

They made 99,74 %.

 

They did but couldn't do the last lap fast enough. According to some rules that require the driver to run the last lap over a certain speed. This was made to avoid slow running car waiting for the 1st to cross the line and not having to do one more lap.

But it wasn't fair for the Toyota to apply this rule...

 

It’s more difficult than you think … the pack driving is very stressful during 300 km/h and an almost loosed car in each banked turn … try iRacing and you will understand it, trust me. Oval racing is a great kind of racing and belongs to R3E too.

 

I never understand oval races too, before i try time trial with iRacing. My Safety rating drop down after first 30 min session
