the R8 looks cool irl, i just think the 3D model here needs some finishing and details. But I guess that's what they're doing until release? And the endurance lights for the night are missing on this car/livery combination

I think its better to tease a car when it is finished. I think its better to dont say: hey we will have this great car, and after a year we still dont having it. U know just logical things i think.
Well, teasing sth when it's ready for release also wouldn't make that much more sense to me. It's a difficult topic in general, however they do it, someone will be upset. Other people ask for roadmaps for years in advance, so they'll never be able to please everyone. How I take all these announcements: They were never written in the sense of "here's what will be released soon erelong" when they were originally made. They are much rather announcements of the agreement on having those cars, of the licensing deal having been finalised, so they can definitely say the car will be in the game at some point in the future.
