Yeah - that bothers me most at the new layout... That was my favorit corner in the old silverstone-Layout. But as other Tracks like Hockenheim, we get used to the new layout and Silverstone is still a great track...
Call me old and grumpy but I never got used to the new layout at Hockenheim. I'm not sure I've ever brought myself to watch a full race at the new one; many, many better tracks in Germany (including the new Nurburgring) for me.
Nope, I'm just your standard lame-arse racing enthusiast. Just threw a Caterham around it and enjoyed some nice pant-browning moments including a scary wiggle at Copse and overshooting Stowe (having hit the car's top speed of 135mph down Hangar straight). The Village/Loop/Aintree section is much-maligned but actually adds a nice challenge, doing something a bit different, a bit more technical, after the likes of Copse, Maggotts, Becketts, Chapel and Stowe which are, while fairly technical through the Maggotts-Becketts complex, mostly about having exceedingly large balls. Mine, sadly, were not big enough for me to be the quickest out there. @James Cook I used to hate Sebring, but I slowly grew to love it as I found that while it's not super-exciting to hotlap, it makes for great racing owing to the multiple good lines around many corners, good drafting/technical balance, etc. @Rodger Davies agreed, the new Hockenheim layout is arse. The old layout.. it needed big balls.
Hello . I have a Question about more Grid Slots in Race Room. Actually it is 24 Players. Is anything in progress to get more Players on the Grid s ? May be 30 -40 Players would be awesome. May be we need more Game or Server Performence then sitens Race Room. I am Christian Klopfer ( Name in Race Room Game) and we have 2 Driving Championships running actually. ADAC 2014 is Streamed on Twitch every Race. In Steam the Group is called : RaceRoomExperience Fun Group https://staging.steamcommunity.com/groups/raceroomexperiencefungroup ADAC GT Masters 2014 with 24 Drivers and DTM 2013 Championship with 15 Drivers. In the Future ( January 2016) we will start a new Championship with ADAC 2015 . And we have today more than 24 Players who want to drive in the Championship. Please make it possible that more Players can join . Thanks
Yep They talk about this in a previous dev stream. Since then we have a option in the grapics setup about the maximum car to display: it goes up to 50
They never tell us the accurate(day) date for a update until a couple of days before. but the month they sometimes give
Above all else we need mandatory pit stops, flags, fuel and no AI control in pits! Then if they decide to throw in Spa and a car pack with that, fine by me!..
Well they mentioned a 'regular' dev stream would take place this month, so expect to hear something later on in it anyway - it's only just begun! Either way, looking forward to hearing what's next, both in features and contents terms; I've been running a few really fun offline races recently but haven't started a new championship as I thought I'd wait for Spa first.
if they do remove AI control in the pits the Crew Chief is going to struggle - it's the only way it can tell if the player is pitting
Not directly - that's not in the data block. I could look at the actual speed and try and work it out, but this is awkward as each pit lane has its own speed limit. The current check (is the AI controlling the car, has the race been running more than a minute, is the leader still racing) is crap anyway so hopefully a proper 'is in pit lane' will be added to the block
