I think some people assume laserscanned track are a much higher resolution as if those point clouds are imported directly into the sim. While this does make the track more accurate the data is still optimized in the same way as non-laserscanned tracks. It can be compared to having CAD data from a manufacturer for a car model. It's a great reference and removes any guesswork involved but the final model is still limited to the specs of the target platform.

Thanks to R3E 503, I started to like AC a lot. Last night I did my first race online, few people but very well behaved. If only I could fix custom championships...
Update 1.3.5 is out. Amongst fixes and further work on tires' heat model, it brings the free Audi R8 V10. Also more multi-threaded optimisations for physics calculation.

No. Go away. Also, AC's shared memory block is (last time I looked) a but rubbish so Crew Chief would probably go 'full retard' and be generally unhelpful. With any luck they haven't improved it so I won't have to do any work
You can have Mr. Belowski at least as your spotter in AC, as I have "stolen" some sound files from crew chief to make a little sound pack for the AC app "Spotter". Sorry again about that, next time I will surely ask first, but I also needed my crew chief Mr. Belowski in AC, not only in Raceroom and Project cars. I can't race without him. If you have this problem, try to reduce the RAM usage for the replays or reduce the number of cars.
I once tried a spotter app in AC, don't remember which one it was, but it was no fun to set it up, and then did not work too well. Maybe that has changed, it is long time ago, but still... It did in no way compare to the elegance of Crewchief in RR, which must not even be installed. Mr.Belowski, have you ever cared to contact Kunos directly to ask whether they can help ?
Skybird - I've only (yesterday) actually bought AC. Having bought it I now have access to their support forums, and I see there are a huge number of requests for improvements and fixes to the shared memory data AC creates. And pretty much all of these requests are getting ignored. So I doubt any requests I might make would be taken more seriously
What - you had a life before yesterday...? P.S. Don't miss the Nordschleife. I spend 50% of my AC time just there.
