Just sent a freind request Just sent a friend request and would love to join up and get some racing in for my channel and make some fellow racing friends.
Hey Andy See this thread where we do none champ Drop in event ( no password ). You can suggest what you would like to see for race combo. There is also a Driver Training School event where some drivers who are good with setups and racing etiquette share their knowledge to help.
@::SKRO:: Sorry to stir the pot, BUT some of the front runners claim they have been sim racing since the late 90's, if so why do they make mistakes that they clearly shouldn't, like rear ending the guy in front in a braking zone knowing their not as quick, where's the race-craft? Sorry, but maybe you should look at the video more closely, the chicane mayhem was totally unnecessary, and as a result some drivers had their races ruined, sure incidents happen, but this was lap 1, cold tyres, everyone is bunched, so you know you need to be extra cautious and apply your best race craft to avoid the incident that transpired. Lets stop making excuses for a "lack of patience" & the "win at all costs" attitude that seems to over rule common sense, sorry for being so blunt, but it needs to be said. Ive been sim-racing online since 04 and I rarely make contact, in fact Matt Bailey, Emilio and I battled heavily in race 2 for a few laps towards the end, taking corners side by side and hardly rubbed panels. (Thanks guys was awesome, shame I hit my pit limiter @ turn 1 on the 2nd last lap......blonde moment!!) Once again my apologies if it's seems I'm stirring up shit, I'm not, I'm stating facts that need to be voiced. I will not be taking part in the next series, so I wont have anything to voice my opinion about, and stir the pot saying what shouldn't be said.
Unless there was another incident at the chicane during R2, I can only assume this is directed at me. I've been sim racing for barely a year. I have never stated otherwise and fully accept responsibility for the incident. Just thought I'd throw that out there before the pot is stirred anymore.
I also caused an incident there with Emilio late in the race. We talked it over afterwards and it's all square between us. I guess I've technically been racing since the 90's if you count Mario Kart on the N64 when I was a little kid Some people in this group are very quick, but none of us are professionals. Mistakes will inevitably happen from slow and fast drivers alike. All we can do is learn from them and try our best to improve.
