Although the coming updates will be a huge step forward for the game,
there is no sign of building a community.
A reasonable way to chat during sessions would be a great start.
Nonetheless, I can't wait to get on track with this patch.

New content released. You own let's say 95 %, you get higher discount for 95 %, when buying another premium pack.
New content released. You own let's say 97 %, you get higher discount for 97 %, when buying another premium pack.
Etc.
Will work , if 9999 vrp will stay .

 

Unless Georg phrased things incorrectly you can only buy the premium pack once Fischie, so probably not.

 

Well its pretty clear R3e and the new Sim Bin game can't compete if they are very similar. I mean S3 can't even keep R3e ahead of the curve, so to speak.

So one has to reason they are either not going to be similar, maybe one more arcady like Grid or the two games will directly compete with each other, which would be insane for a company that barely has enough coders. If competing against each other, one would have to reason that R3e has a finish line and they are moving onto the new game...which I think is the case, bc r3e can't seem to even get to a point to make a complete game for as good as parts of it are. It's name has been associated with the great game that isn't a game and can't go any farther. I was hoping the new game was going to be an upgrade/rebranding of the R3e game and some of my content would be available in the new game....but I doubt that.

I am fine for the transition into a new game, my issue is the money spent on R3e, which no one forced me to do, but it pretty much means I am super cautious right now on adding content. Love the game, support the devs, but 2 years later we still don't have anything close to a complete game. We got 70% there and then stopped.

 

I can't see S3 taking the time to work on VR, Triple Screen support and a safety rating system if they are indeed preparing to leave R3E behind. Ideally S3 will be allowed to handle the sim enthusiast market and push R3E towards being a real iRacing competitor while harvesting tech advances from SimBin making a broader appealing game. IE ditch anything below Get Real and leave that to the consoles.

A man can dream at least.

 

Go watch the dev stream. They are not leaving R3E behind and are currently working on VR (even demo'd it in the stream) and could have a developer work on triple screen in the near future.
