How can I do it?
Record your race making sure that driver names are on. Then post it in here https://discord.gg/YfakX2
Also provide the following
1. Description - [NAME] of the griefer(s) and description of the offense - [DATE AND TIME] at which the offense took place - Name of the [SERVER] on which the offense took place (optional)
2. Evidence - [FILE attachment] - .vcr replay file from the session (located in My Documents\My Games\SimBin\RaceRoom Racing Experience\ReplayData ) - [FILE attachment] - game*.log file from the session (located in My Documents\My Games\SimBin\RaceRoom Racing Experience\UserData\Log )
You have to provide a video like this one....
About you too! ☝️
Yeah... I was hit in the back from "t. duren"
I just had some incidents with two reckers, which intentionally waited for me lap by lap in order to ruin my race on a ranked server. I got an onscreen recording from it as well as of course the replay file.
Where do I send the report, since the discord channel is closed?
Please report using the channel #report-ofenses at our discord channel.
Here is a new link to discord:
thanks for the quick reply. The channel you are referring to is closed unfortunately.
Can you try this one to #general channel?
I'm still enjoying the ranked servers, it's also nice to see the track rosters keep being changed up.
One bit of feedback on the latest updates, personally I preferred the simple qualifying and racing approach over the current practice, qualifying and race structure where drivers can only join during practice. During the free 5 day event I really struggled to get into certain servers as they were full during practice but then drivers left during qualifying meaning races started with less than full grids unnecessarily. I know this was a temporary problem but I'd still say the practice session has added additional time between races and narrowed the window for joining servers.
This was done for two reasons IIRC:
1) It stops people joining qualifying at the last second to just go and wreck others.
2) Less server strain from people jumping on and potentially causing lag for someone on a hot lap.
Although the wait is longer I personally prefer No Joins during qualifying, in an ideal world perhaps the first 5 minutes could be Open then closed thereafter but not sure if that's possible.
Lately when i join a gt3 ranked server all the cars i have cannot be selected, neither of the mclarens are there, nor the z4 or the older gt3's, also starting to get really bad lag and stutter in vr now that i never had before which i think could be down to the time changing in game as especially the sunsets are really heavy on my pc. Is anyone else having similar issues or has there been changes made to the ranked servers?
Thanks, glad to hear there was good logic behind the change. Maybe 10 mins practice and 10 mins qualifying might work best.
dynamic time of day is turned on on the gt3 server, I was ahving fps issues too. Re old cars, they are not BOP'd fully yet and so are not really competitive with the newer spec cars.
Less people are enjoying the ranked servers because of this new rule, myself included.
Have you got the facts to backup this statement?
...and don't shoot the messenger
While we're making up statistics, quality of people enjoying the ranked servers have increased, probably.
I don't need to justify any statement, this is not the court of law.
i have just sworn in my cat , now it is
