maybe we should start tallying the results of these if not done already that is, would be good for devs to use and prioritise content
I probably have posted this car before.. but in GranTurismo 4 one of my favourite cars was the Gillet Vertigo GT racing car.. sadly the road version didn't come along to GT4.. but the GT car was really awesome to drive and a bit of a dork to handle it well because the weight in the back. It was very tailhappy. But afterall, if you managed the character of this devil.. it was a joy to drive ! But there are multiple teams/drivers who believed in this package of glassfibre and an Alfa Romeo engine.. It looks mean, it drives mean and a field full of those vacuumcleaners (that mouth..) would be fun to have races with it.. isn't it ? And last but not least... moving images + sound.. It looks and sounds likes Vipers unknown brother from Belgium (+ an Italian accent)
The Gillet Vertigo GT is indeed an awesome Belgian racing car. It was also present in GT5 IIRC, but sadly was not premium, so no cockpit. Would love to see it reappear in a serious sim...
Could be fun.. from my point of view.. every kind of cupracing could be fun, so the Octavia RS is a possible car and maybe a good contender too on the hillclimbs
I would like to have all major GT3s as well, like the 488 GT3, Huracan GT3, 911 R GT3 (or what it's called). The other modern major GT3s are in the works, maybe the Nissan would need an update (but a new chassis is planned for next year iirc). If they had those cars they could make many series around the world, like Blancpain Series, International GT Open, PWC, Super Taikyu, SGT GT300, newer ADAC etc. relatively fast with only skinning needed. I understand though these cars might be hard and expensive to license, but they would be incredibly popular. As for the current series I am happy with WTCC as I follow it, DTM is nice as well. I think the reason behind the silence about ADAC GTM 2016 is the lack of cars released and licensed. I can imagine TCR would be fun to race. I would be absolutely blown away with Super GT. Slightly off topic, but if GTR3 in 2018 wants to deliver, they need all GT3 licences and possibly a high-profile series license, such as Blancpain (and the cars could carry over to R3E, or vice versa). Otherwise the competition will be very strong with AC having most licenses except Bentley and Emil Frey (hopes in British Pack, just needs better AI!!) and PCARS2 is promising a pretty good package as well. We can only hope every sim delivers magnificent experience, so we can live in simracing heaven
Yes, for sure the Huracan, 488, Aston and Jaguar are expensive licences, but I think evrybody here driving GT3 cars would purchase them... Would be GREAT to see those addition in my beloved sim !!!
