Love to have some TCR. Not sure if it can happen due to licensing stuff, but would be amazing to have more Touring cars!!

Yay!The "Long Live the King" billboard is there! Seriously,if I can understand correctly S3S collaborated with Hermann Tilke to design the real track? That explains why the track has a much nicer flow than his usual designs. That tight chicane-straight-slow turn trademark of him is really hurting F1.(Look no further than Hermanos Rodriguez).

It's got a comparatively simple layout for a Tilke circuit, which I like. Not overly intricate, angular or turn-heavy, which can be traits of Tilke designs. The recent touring car races held there were decent to watch.

A shame it's so flat, I love elevation change, but the layout looks good for racing. Lots of room to go side-by-side with some good out-braking opportunities also.

Superb news, I love that it's a track I've never played in a sim before, I love that it's another Asian one for the roster, will be looking to buy this on the first day, I guess it will come with WTCC 2015.

Great news about the partnership too - I'm not going to pretend like Tilke aren't the devil to me when it comes to ruining previously great circuits but can't deny how impressed I am by your deal and looking forward to what else it may bring.

Just watching the WTCC round to get an idea of the track, once that is they finished crashing for long enough for me to get a good look. Looks interesting. Not overly exciting, but that could be a different matter once in the racing seat. Couple of longish straights for overtaking.

And like @Rodger Davies I like the idea of a track I have never driven before.

While collaboration is brilliant news, Tilke is the destroyer of proper racetracks.

Not sure about that , Tilke builds tracks for the clients and the championships , so his hands are tied ; today with all the safety concerns etc , it would be impossible to get a grade 1 track built that resembles any of the classic tracks ... its just not possible , im sure they would love to create a new Nordschlieffe type track but who would pay for it

He works with what he has got: usually a flat plot of land, stringent safety considerations and a finite budget. It is what it is.

All the Tilke-bashing is a bit tiresome. He has plenty of good tracks to his name e.g. Istanbul, Red Bull Ring, Sepang, Aragon, Bahrain.

Here is another example of a Tilke-Track without the restrictions of a modern Racetrack:

    It's the Bilster-Berg in Germany. It is not a racetrack - just a Drive-Ressort.

Never heard of this track, thanks for the post. Looks like a Mini-Nordschleife. His stint could have found an early end in the mousetrap ;)

Yes I know the restrictions, but who in their right mind would make, for example, a kart-sector out of one of the most exhilarating corners of F1-history? There are other ways to improve safety, nutering classic tracks should not be one -- in my humble opinion, of course.
