I think they will add it when all are back in the office. Probably they have all holiday till new year.
I saw right now, the position in the cup beeing displayed, when entering! Very good, though I see, I will never get a chance. Too many aces in space!
I agree though I managed to stay within the Top 96, but being a little older than the average RRE pilot my whole focus is drawn to the preliminaries, fighting hard for each tenth advantage....Hope it will be worth the effort - when we directly compete against each other in round 2 (MP)...but anyway you should be a fan of the Cars/Series to participate at those competitions for to dive deeply into the matter. And I'm sure there are more events like this coming - Race Room takes the right path here. Maybe for the best 144 in a XXX Summercup ?
"The most important thing is not to win but to take part!" said Pierre de Coubertin. I don' envy them their success, hey I'm 48 years old and am quite pleased heaving fun.
In case you are looking for a list of the top 100 http://game.raceroom.com/championships/2 Inside the game I just saw my current position
I think the cut for the 96th place will be around 2800 points more or less. If you make over 3000Points out of your 4 best results I think you are save in the MP-Races. And in the first 96 Places there are guys not from europe so maybe place 110 is also good for the race and there are players that dont want to race in MP so maybe 140 is also good enough for the Races
I have this issue very often but gave up to report it due to no response. https://forum.sector3studios.com/index.php?posts/44535/ Usually i restart the game and try it again...bit annoying when you improved a lot...i know
James's writing can be a bit over the top, but even though I almost never touch the leaderboard competitions I absolutely think this needs to be brought to attention and looked into.
Touching the wall makes you sooo much slower so this article is a complete crap! No matter how I touch a wall I lose at least a second even if I would try to 'use' them. Everyone who does this can delete his account and never drive again a Simracing game. I also read the article about Tim, very curious. I don't really think that Tim is cheating because he proved his speed at the SimExpo twice. He don't need that things but log files say something different what kinda scares me, maybe have a quick look at that @J-F Chardon ?
Hope i can set a very good time on last round with this exploit setup here u will see my awesome laptime http://game.raceroom.com/de/competitions/554/leaderboard
Tim is fast, and like you said, he proved it to everyone with his presence at the SimExpo where there wasn't even access to car setups and they were all discovering new GT3 physics on-site for the first time. Cheating would be a very stupid move anyway from anyone like Tim who aims at making it from simracing into real racing.
