I wouldnt worry about tire wear, the tires are going to run down no matter what, just drive as fast as you can. With the current situation, I feel its best to gap the competition than to conserve, only got 30 mins. But just think in the future....a feature that allows you to use the same tires from Race 1 towards Race 2...then maybe id worry.
What a frustration tonight... I ended up quitting and loading Bastion to smash things before going to bed... Releasing the anger in a destructive way is always good Oh well, I'll see tomorrow to do something... I hope!

Today in the BMW I was able to drop down to 27.3 Not sure what the Vette will do anymore, been working on setups for other cars to make things "more interesting" for others.

Would you mind sharing your Vette setup and laptime achieved with that setup? I would be very interested in comparing our setups and to see how you go about to balance your car. If you dont want to reveal it thats fine too though =)
I guess I could maybe. Dont think my setups are that special, since R3E only has basic stuff to adjust compared to iRacing or AC. give me some time.
it wasn't too much work to do 1.27.4 in the vette. that was in qualifying. in practice i did 1.28.0. i predict a 1.26.xx from you, james nothing really extreme there. pretty close to default actually. brake balance seemed to help a lot. the rear wing took a little getting used to.
You would be correct. I did a 27.0 in the qualifying and was sure to break into the 26's till I got the join lag from someone and blew it, gave up after that. Turn one for me makes or breaks the lap.
I hate red bull, and I also hate the track. Something is wrong on my keyboard. The turbo button doesn't work anymore...
Funny story about the "turbo button" I was racing with my friends when i was way younger. We were all hooked up via lan and playing Need for Speed 2 . I was chasing my friend to take the lead and Yelled ... "OHH yeah coming in, good thing i SAVED ALL MY TURBO !! " He goes "There is a TURBO !???" i replied .. well yeah, don't you know that ?? Its space bar for turbo ... Next thing you see is him flying sideway off the track ... ( the space bar was HAND-BRAKE ) LOL

That lap was a 26.9 but in the process of getting there I was consistently doing 27.1-3's over and over again till I got turn 3 a bit better.
Best lap of the night ending up being 1:29.2. Don't think I will ever get to touch the untouchables. I used to like this game, then I joined ESR lol
I really don't get how I don't improve on this track... I know I am not that great at racing, but just odd, lol. I can get into the low 1:28s.... but I can just as easily get a 1:30.... So, see you at the back of the bus folks.
I jumped into your practice session spontaneously with the Caddy and joined the race after (btw. you were invisible to me Sean)- with a bit tweaking I made a 128.5 and 129.1 in race later, means with a bit more practice I see around 1- 1.5 secs to gain - but the thing is as easy the tracklayout appears as tricky Spielberg is to drive. Specially the infield esses and last turn before finish are crucial to take max. speed out of these passages.....
