Being mad is ok (partially) and it's part of the show but don't start with personal insults. Not very appropriate to behave like teenagers. So again, don't flood S3S forums (and this thread) with stuff like these. PM @MeMotS or me and put in communication parties involved with video of the accident if you want We all are grown ups here and able to handle situations like these with common sense and respect. Accidents and shit happen, the important thing is to maintain our cool. No need to do resort to this kind of things: especially cause they lead nowhere or bring anything to solve the matter.
touring cars and historical classes have very good crash physics some of the best anywhere in sims but gt cars don't. I think the rigidity of gt cars mucks the game up cause in real life it would have just put a dent in the bumper but the game cant simulate that and touring cars are soft enough to cope.
Note to self: bug J-F to death to add ballast penalties for next champ and set Nance's car to 100 Tons.... and no tires. ...that'd do?
yeah i is a bit annoying how little contact it takes, at times, to literally launch someone. It would be nice if it was less intense reactions of the cars when there is light contact. It will bring the racing in nice and tight.
Meanwhile... @shardshunt thanks so much for the nerve wrecking of experience of having you on my six for the majority of the time in Race 02... I was spent. This duel was thrilling! 1min replay of the duel (direct footage, no editing, will be available in 40min probably)
was great fun, thanks @::SKRO:: and also to the crazy Russian @Lazorenko Yevgeny behind me cause if he wasn't their i would have made a mistake and fallen behind. also I'm not used to seeing my car in hi-res looking at vids of me racing is a strange experience.
Fun racing. I am a little unhappy to my disqualified in first race. I had the victory because i did only see Öbergs penalty info. I had no qlue that i had a drive thru. And when looked at replay i was not even close to off track or pit lan markers. Secund race Sorry for my 2 accidental breaking to late for one and Tim i did not see that i had so much better grip there so i had full trottel when i hit you. sorry. And i the first race i had 98 % in front and 97% back when it was 6 minutes left.
For me it was the exact reverse, I only saw you getting the penalty and not my own name, so I didnt go into pits (didnt think I got any penalty) and then to my surprise got DQ Anyway it was me who swerved and got us both disqualified so im terribly sorry for that Magnus! Also I got a drive-through penalty in Race2 when we were side by side on the start/finish straight so that pit line thing is super sensitive about its proximity/range Trying to serve my penalty didnt go better either, went in and changed my tires the first time (facepalm) and had to go in to pits a 2nd time to serve the drive-through, was waaaaay behind after that. Weight somewhat equals traction, im leaning more towards this if we want a chance to catch James. Leg-powered FWD, Push/Pull rear-wheel steering and zero suspension, sounds about right to me.
