does shanghai short have real curb? and if yes will i end up on them without losing pace? i suspect the answer is no to one or both of these questions no shanghai short will not surprise me. in fact from what ive seen they put tire bundles were the curbs should be? what kind or sadistic bastard thought that was a good idea.
So a track without curb is not fun? I think the apprehension of a Tilke track is not letting people giving it a fair chance. All i know is i tried the Gto on there(West Short) and it was a lot of fun. 10 minutes and all tires were gone
if you dont have curbs and bumps and elevation changes and fast flowing complexes isn't worth my time, especially is something low powered like a m1 pro car. f1 has a few great tracks they race on and a ton of really s*** ones. sazuka is great with the curbs on some corners the fast flowing esses with elevation changes and tricky corners. shanghai is boring and thanks to f1's retarded front wings they cant even use these tracks that are clearly deigned to make overtaking as easy as possible cause they'll just wash out when they get too close. so yes if thier are no cubs a track isnt good.
Opinion are like .. I never let a track having curbs or not lessen my enjoyment of any track. I am more of a fan of diversity when we try to get together and race.
but how is f1 having 20 tracks that drive exactly the same diversity? they are the same in a slightly differnt layout.
see that would be way better than racing around yet another flat tikke drome. why dont we add 'shopping mall' to our list of tracks and pretend we are in the blues brothers.
F1 track is what it is, a F1 track. I am not disagreeing with you that they could/should have more interesting track in the F1 champ. I am talking diversity in what we drive here at ESR, I would love to be able online with good drivers on a different car and different track every weeks, but there is some combo that people want again and again and that is fine as well.
Id like to use these moments as times to race on different tracks regardless if its not ideal, most tracks are used over and over again, kinda gets old. Think I don't like some tracks or cars? sure, but im still gonna give it a try, in the end racing is racing.
if 'racing is racing' id be playing mario cart or need for speed so i could be rubber banded right back in to the action.
Since I don't care about F1, I don't even know where they race. But if I knew, I wouldn't let an idea spoil the joy of an experience (racing in a good track). Shanghai is a really enjoyable circuit, specialy with the Chevy DP.
Been pre-occupied with Tilke Tracks as well but the R3E ones are really challenging, with a good flow and immersion as long you race them focused and precisely, while there are others like Sepang or some desert courses I still don't like...and noticed that I#m also lazy too learning new ones with a more "tricky" layout where it takes some effort to truly understand them...
