Its in the graphics options somewhere near the bottom This is how id start , Now that you have deleted redownloaded and installed etc Get the dx9 installer for your win version , run it instal it Get ccleaner , instal , run it , options dll check , run that , make a back up when it asks , then delete the stuff it suggests In windows make sure you force your cpu to run at max Run the game without webmenu , just incase your using it , Make sure you arent running any oc programs etc , no huds , no anything Go to graphic options , do the cockpit thing , set motion blur off ,dof off , and set all to medium ,run a test Kill the game set the refresh rate to 60 , run again Andi
What is wrong there? Watching on a mobile so maybe I don't get all the details... Regarding your dx9 question, there's nothing you need to activate. Andi was referring to the webmenu, which is still experimental and not recommended to be used for now (Needs a start-up argument, so I assume you did not activate it) Oli
Graphics graphics graphics!!!! I'm dying cannot get the proper graphics settings for days, unfortunately I'm a pc mid user I can do stuff to a certain limit and follow some real steps but frustration is killing me. I did what Andi advised and it launched but still the same!! I managed to tweak the Nvidia and game settings from some YouTube videos and it's better now but the visuals are not satisfying comparing to other titles like Automobilista and ACC, I'm getting 100+ fps upto 150+ fps. Watch the video please and check the track details like the buildings fence etc.
I didn't notice anything wrong in your video either. Are talking about the quality of game objects? Or are you still talking about stuttering, movements looking choppy? Does Vsync affect that? It should work with your TV. Does it still look choppy if you reduce the refresh rate to 60 Hz?
I have to say I don´t see anything "wrong" either. If you are now getting OK FPS then for me issue closed. This game is older than ACC so the graphic details are not quite as good, that´s just how it is.
There really can be some strange microstuttering/choppiness even at 100+ FPS, I've noticed it on my PC too when I turned off Vsync. It did not look like screen tearing, it looked as if my FPS dropped way below 60 while cornering even though the FPS counter was steadily above 100.
What I instantly notice, is when I turn off motion blur completely. Some hate to use it, I really need some of it. The reason might be that I seem to be very sensitive to seeing a "slight stutter" if I'm watching a sequence of pin sharp pictures - even with framerates around 120, at which I have the game running quite constantly. You can compare that to a movie filmed at only 24 frames, but still looking fluid. The secret behind that, is that each frame was shot with a shutter speed of around 1/50 of a second which leads to a slight motion blur of moving objects in each frame. This causes a very natural blending from frame to frame, fooling your eye and your brain to believe there's no information missing in between the frames and thus giving a very fluid impression. The same scene filmed with an exposure of 1/1000s would appear very choppy. This impression becomes less obvious if you have more fps, but for me it's still distracting at above 100fps. So adding SOME motion blur (algorithm 'complex', amount 'medium') gives me just enough blending of the frames to prevent me perceiving it as choppy. Oli
Also can we get a few screen shots , your nvidia settings and also your ingame graphics settings Thanks Andi
