OK fella, knock yourself out ;)

Robyte, before Skybird gets his toys out, can you confirm that this is a heuristic scan 'hit' on the .zip file only. That is, did your virus scanner flag a similar warning when it scanned the folder where that zip file had been extracted?

I have also no virus alert with the "no sound pack" version.

Thanks Frank. My final scan is nearly finished and I've found nothing on my dev box. I honestly think this is a false positive.

Thanks for the help fellas - I look forward to hearing what Robyte's virus scanner vendor comes back with :)

    Hello
i hope skybird has nice toys ;-), but i dont want to test them out.
It was a heuristic scan with this antivirus software.
After i downloaded the zip file, the program screams loud and banned the zip file in a container.
My system is totally new, bought and installed last saturday.
I will wait for an answer of the vendor and tell you

I've been working on a new version. This isn't ready for use yet but if you want, you can download this one just to see what your virus checker thinks of it

We sincerely appreciate your help of improving our products and services.
Result: Proper actions have been taken. If the false positive happens again, please add it into local Trust List and contact us again

I'm confused. They say it *does* have a virus in it, or it's a false positive??

Did you get anything else from them? Because what you've posted is ambiguous...

"The file that you’ve submitted has been identified as malicious file"

    or...

"If the false positive happens again, please add it into local Trust List and contact us again"

This is what the program said, and they repeated it
    or...
"If the false positive happens again, please add it into local Trust List and contact us again"
This ist the answer of them

I added the file to local trust list and will use your program, because it's cool
I think the virus program has a virus ;-)

Mr B, Have just scanned with McAfee. Report basically says all clear, no further action required.

Since last night I always get a "ok for this app to launch Raceroom" message from steam.
Is there a way to turn of this notification from steam?

I've never seen it until yesterday, don't know if I had an update with steam?..
Have always just launched directly with the app, without me approving it every time.

you might be able to bypass the Steam launch stuff and change the launch_exe to [steam_install_folder]/steamapps/common/raceroom racing experience/RRRLauncher.exe, and leave the launch_params property blank

    Thanks!
Wiping the launch_params property to blank solved it. :)

    Was thinking of something.
I almost always get the "good start mate" even if I haven't advanced any positions.
Would be nice to get a bit more variation to this.
And if I don't advance any positions on the start, I don't feel I need that encouragement.
Better to save those to when I really made a good start. :)
