then I'm really not sure what's going on. There might be some .Net errors in the Event log - go to 'Event Viewer' and look for errors in the Application logs

Thanks for the tip. I couldn't find errors there - "Product: CrewChiefV4 -- Installation operation completed successfully."

Darn, I really want to use your app. But thanks again for your help, maybe someone will be able to solve the problem in the future. If I do, I will tell you guys.

    Regards,
    Grimbold

Regarding to this ....... is it possible to remember the last installation path? I have installed CrewChief on a different drive and folder, but every update points to the default folder.
Not a big deal, but it would be handy to propose the folder of the current installation instead of the default one.

surprisingly, the 'free' version of InstallShield makes it very difficult to do this so it's not on the list of 'stuff' to add, sorry fella. I know it's a bit of a ballache but it's a bigger ballache to fix it.

Grimbold - does the installer add Crew Chief to the start menu?

Thanks for info, Jim. As i said before ....... not a big deal, just a suggestion.

I wasn't aware that the "free" InstallShield can't do this. I mostly use the free NSIS with HM NIS Editor to make an Installer for skin/mod-packs for leagues. It's quite flexible to use. And as mentioned ...... it's free. ;)

No. Also not there. And when I search "Crew Chief" after the installation, the only result is the installer.

Can it be uninstalled? Does it appear in the add/remove programs list?

It can be "uninstalled" (or repaired, or modified) via the installer, but it doesn't show up in the programs list.

Interestingly, trying it for the 30th time now, I got an error message while installing: "error 2932 could not create file [...] error: 5"
Now I downloaded a new installer and it "worked" again, so everything as before, no trace of the app.

Does this blue flag behavior have to be switched on somehow or should it just work out of the box? I've updated Crew Chief right before our tonight's race and saw the mention about the old blue flag behavior returning in the changelog, but got no blue flag call when I was actually lapped in the race (with flag rules off)...

Crew chief working well in wip, but I'm not getting notifications when other cars is pitting.
Have you disabled this / broken, or other reason?
Would be nice to have this as an option if possible. :)

Last day on track with CC was last Friday. There he reported to me that the car in front and behind me was pitting.

there's been no change to that code for a while, and as far as I know, no change to the shared memory. It doesn't always announce opponents pitting - there are a couple of checks it makes to ensure the message is relevant and it errs on the side of caution, so it's possible you've been unlucky

Okay, then I know they should be there, but been awhile since I heard it.
Will it get announced even with mandatory pit stops disabled?
Lately I mostly run races with fuel and tire multipliers for greater variation and strategy.

Assetto Corsa was updated to ver. 1.4 today. Crew chief does not seem to be working with the update.

Thanks for the app' @mr_belowski. Works like a charm out of the box, and no impact on game performances. :)

Only downside is it doesn't work in my real car, known issue? :D
