App Offical release of Crew chief version 4 - auto updating and shiny

It would be great if the driver names "almkicker" und "yaeger" are added to "my name".

Can someone explain the next problem with Crew Chief and Discord.
We had several races and 2 members have this problem.
When we are on Discord we can hear the Crew Chief of someone else.
We did an test with Skype and everyone uses Crew Chief we heard nothing.
We prefer Discord app but for the two riders wich we can hear the Crew Chief it's irritating because they can't use Discord in the race.

 

Hi, after the latest update (not sure) I realized that th spotter give me the wrong positoin of cars. when a car is on front of me it tells me: car on the left or right, hold your line? is it raceroom or the crew chief software that does the misinterpretation?

 

hmm... can't reproduce this issue but did find an issue where it was calling "3 wide on left" when there were 2 cars on the left one behind the other (instead of 2 cars on the left, each next to each other). Apart from that (which will be fixed in the next release) it all seems OK to me

 

I can still reproduce it, I did race against the AI in Spa with an GT3. When the car is in front of me (>10m) towards the "left" side the spotter tells me: car on the lef and so on. I restarted raceroom and crew chief a several times. hm

 

still couldn't reproduce this last night (GT3 at Spa as well).

Have you tried resetting all the app's Properties to their default values? There's a 'reload default values' option

 

This evening it happened again, this time on the Nordschleife with the Audi TT RS. I thought I'm recording the race against the AI but shadow play was not activated and before I used OBS but again the app told me there's a car next to me on the left side but it was 20 m in front of me on the left side. Then there were teo cars in front of me and the crew chief told me I'm in the middle. Turn the spotter on and off but it was still the same. I reset the app several times. Didn't help. Tomorrow I will do a video. Nevertheless the app is so great! I couldn't do a race without it. It's so immersive

I probably should reinstall the app, perhaps it will fix it. It seems to be a delay with the spotter calls

How many AI are you racing against?

 

I had 19 AI opponents in total in this example. Unfortunately I didnt have the time to do a video. I found a tip for windows 10 to set the affinity for a program in the shortcut. So I set crewchief.exe to run on core 7 (4 real cores in total). But in either way it did not solve the problem. In the past I have not done so many races against the AI but the delay was new to me. I mean, I think it could be a delay. Next week I will do a test with less opponents. I also reset and reinstalled the crewchief but this did not solve the problem so far. It happend in Spa and on the Nordschleife.

 

Is Spotter Matt Empty Box or is it me and @Connor imagining things?

i do try to install your crew chief,

so i have questions.....

1. is it correct, that i do need to download all 3 things (sound pack, driver names, personalistions), i have not idea if i need all this, as i will not have the thing where i can talk to microphone and then get a message like....how much fuel left.....10litres ,
as this i will not can install for sure, this looks complicated,

i will only have the thing where crew tell me......left side....still here.........left side....clean (and so on..)

and in my name in righs side top, i do not see my name....is it possible to adding somehow my name? must i do this or you must do this???

Yes, Reinhard you need to download all 3 sound packs. They contain all the sounds crew chief says.
