Resolved RACE 07 mostly unplayable, crashes when track loads. Please fix this.

    Yes, I removed all of the IGA folders in my Locations folder. I'm not sure why my game still crashes when loading some of the tracks. Maybe I'll try removing those IGA.scn files....

    You might as well remove the SCN files too. The game will still run without them

    I hope this bug will be fixed soon. If the community already has come up with a work around it shouldnt be too hard to fix I would think.

    Just so you know, it crashes on non IGA tracks too, i.e. Road America, Imola 08. There's no IGA found in after mention tracks, but both crashed my race07. Is there going to be a patch for this?

    Hello, we just pushed a quick patch for RACE 07 that should take care of this problem.

    I did check validate files for RACE 07 and for all the expansions I have, Steam downloaded previously deleted "IGA" files and game works fine. Thanks.

    did a fresh install of race07 three days ago (coincidence), found the problem, eventually found this post, and installed the patch last night. All working as expected, thanks very much for a quick and seemingly painless solution! :) Well done!

    Where can I download this patch ?,, (That J-F Chardon referred to on Jun 27 2016)
    Ive tried all the workarounds.described above
    Clean steam install.
    removed all IGA folders and all IGA.scn
    steam verification of game files..
    but and am still crashing when trying to start race07.

    thanks for the prompt response.. I did a fresh install from steam, having uninstalled (in steam) , So theoretically, I shouldnt be having this 3 year old issue !!!

    maybe its not the same issue , can you describe it more , does the game crash direct , does it crash when loading a track etc

    It happens when I try to start the game. So yes I agree its not a specific track(s) related issue . I will try some more troubleshooting.. but if you know of a systemic issue and/or work around , let me know ! Thanks again for your help
