Take your time and have a look around. What is required ? : Fair, clean & respectful racing amongst (Ladies &) Gentlemen. Note: We race at Sector 3 Public Servers of course (until Dedicated Servers are coming). --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Some Snapshots from the last GearEx Group 5 Event to tease your appetite : Today 21:00 : Touring Classics@GearEX
The last GearEX Event last Thursday was bit messy `cause another US Server with Touring Classsics was already running and might have caused some confusion while additonally Aline Senna joined our Server we actually want to meet on. We changed immediately (which caused some more confusion first) but sweet Aline seemed to like us and re-joined a few minutes later. Well, as she was so persistent I thought by myself maybe this time she really wants to have a clean Race with some Gentlemen. I addressed her directly asking if she gonna be a "good girl" (no answer) and the Miracle happened ! At start, one of us accidentally blocked her and I felt highly alerted, cause that's the moment she usually puts out her whip .....BUT no - she passed and made a quiet good run at 2nd position (rest prefered to leave a little gap) behind Daniel (or Tim) who was leading with his Volvo, until she missed last turn before Finish Straight , returned to pits and LEFT ! After that we gathered again on track and "restarted" our little run with just six cars chasing each other closely. Unfortunately we got the same Server Rotation as last time (Brands followed by Spielberg *not Steven btw.* ) but as it was a very tough race too I can only say : Better with six Gentlemen on the track than with a full grid of idiots ..... From next week on GearEX switches to more modern Series (DTM 13/14, WTCC, DTM92, Hillclimb Icons). I actually enjoyed the Touring Classics a lot, not so much different from DTM 92.... well, some Screenies - enjoy ! :

I have not been making these lately due to sickness and being busy in general, but I still keep an eye out whenever i'm online and will join up again soon. Glad these groups are around for R3E races.
Yea Moscow was fun I've never raced there so was abit of a challenge. I accidentally hit the starter button on the back straight instead of the DRS and took out Tim, sorry Tim ;-)
didn`t expect to win it as I find I suck at Moscow...but it seems you guys suck more . However, whole Tuesday was a strange day for me, came home late and confused myself with start time (was "sure" I `d set the event to 20:30 European Time) so the evening became somehow unreal to me as well (we just had two races anyway). Moscow I chased the leader for a few laps until I found a spot to stick my nose in and managed a clean DRS overtake at last long straight, which is often harder than you think, specially when you`re on par with your opponent...but very satisfying... Norisring DTM I experienced the cleanest start ever !! Just a little legit squeezing and scratching... As I re-installed RRE completetly last week, I forgot to save my setups but came close to what I had configured before but not good enough to fight for lead..VILAS who joined us, lost some positions due to a (typical) race incident and I had a good fight with him trying to keep him behind me (with a little DRS "Trickery" cause as the course is so short you can use DRS in a more tactical way then on other tracks) but he was too fast and acted very clever not to fall for my maneuvres. Well I ended fourth and could go the pace with the leading pack at least... Thanks to all attending & supporting , specially to Gear Grinder , David Plummer and Tim Cannon Note: Due to changes of my work schedule Thursday Events (except for tomorrow with Hillclb. Icons OR G5 if released ) are cancelled for now. For more Info look at the GearEx event board or discussion area @Steam. http://steamcommunity.com/groups/gearex#events
I usually leave the server index No at the event board right before start [RR#?] (if not announced otherwise) or just hover over the golden star a server's marked with : All friends attending are listed there.... Cu PS: There is Steam Group chat at GearEx of course, I send invitations...
You were the guy with that french nick at Oschersleben ? We finished around 23:30 (10:30 gmt) .Last was Oschersleben, after Slovakiaring and Hungaroring (WTCC). Switched after one round Laguna Seca with Hillclb. Icons- Unfortunately there`s only Laguna (non-free track) & no rotation. @Sean Kenney Lost you after reboot it seems.....
finally got to race a bit here tonight. 3 great races @ 6pm EST. The later ones were good too but got stalled on the grid behind 2 no shows.
Well, I had a great time last night, some really enjoyable races. Too many mistakes cost me better results though (I don't want to talk about Oschersleben lol). Thanks guys, looking forward to going through the replays later today, may even put a highlight reel together
The stupid nickname in the Cruze I am. Unexpected 3rd place for me, I am so slow. Thanks for your patience until the door was opened in the straight.
