Probably around 30 hours. It was so worth it though. Works a treat and looks better than with the fake display and knobs.

The guy from the YT channel Simracing NC did a similar thing with his F1 wheel a couple of years ago. He said it took him about 50 hours to complete. Suppose it depends on how competent you are at this type of thing. Fortunately, I know a couple of friends who would gladly help me out with certain aspects of the project, such as the soldering.

    Nice setup, Blanes.
What's your experience with the motion? Can you share your settings? I'm running it as well but after my visit to Palmer Sport in the UK I need to fine-tune the settings (more effects on the motion, less on the wheel).

The soldering is the only thing i didn't do, got my old man to do it.
There are a few websites with videos and instructions on how to do it, were extremely helpful

Yeah mate I had a few teething problems when I first got it back in Feb but since then all sorted and it is brilliant, could not race without it anymore actually, tried it and it was sooo dull ! ;) Anyway my whole PC crashed other day and turns out my main Hard Drive if fried - makes a clicking noise and never boots. So past few days spent doing a complete PC upgrade to skylake and windows 10. Once that is complete and I am back up and running I will send you my settings files if you want. PM me your email and I can share what I have ... cheers mate, mark

It may not be as nice as some of the Rigs here, but I just redid to better support sim vibe. I am certain I will be redoing it again.

I made the Shifter and handbrake. The rest is Fanatec.

Almost as tight as in a single seater! How's the boarding?
Is this blower linked to speed?:D

My camping chair is foldable, so getting in and out is quite easy. :)
The negative is that it gets extremely hot after a while.. And thats where the fan comes in, would have been awesome if it was possible to have it match the speed in game!! :D

Rest assured, all seats are getting "hot". I went through office chairs (padded and non padded) a karting seat, a Playseat, a RaceRoom (padded) seat and now a Sparco Torino.... they all have the same "problem", even with modest room temperatures and/or airco working.
I too have two fans working as soon as I'm in longer races.
