Resolved Unable to launch game in VR

Yes on Windows 10.
I'm currently clothes shopping with the wife but will try that next when I get in.

So, i ran the DX setup, but it just sasy a newer version of DX is already installed, no installation necessary and then quits.

 

Also, runnign dxdiag, under al tabs, its says no problems found

 

Out of impatience to resolve this I wiped my PC and reinstalled windows 10 from scratch.

It has just steam and the Oculus software installed, with AC and RF2.

Situation exactly the same, with no -vr launch parameters it works fine.
With -vr parameters, bsod and reboot.

Wasted enough time on this, and slightly exasperated!
Given the somewhat glacial support form the developer / programmer I will call it a day.

I receive email notifications, so if anyone ever resolves this, post away.

Updating the thread.

I completely wiped and reinstalled Windows 10.
After this, neither Raceroom Racing would run in VR or Rfactor 2 which had previously been using Steam VR without issue.

Out of desperation, I spent another evening wiping and reinstalling my PC for a second time. This has now resolved the problem and Raceroom is loading and running in VR.

I have no idea what was causing it or why the first reinstall didn't work.
I suspect it's a driver problem somewhere, but I'm happy to report this is resolved.
