I think the bigger question is, did he drive it with the Amateur settings or the Get Real settings? Sorry, couldn't resist. Joking aside, I've seen Dan discuss before that he did get to have a go in a lower formula car at a track day event or something, so he's not just blowing smoke and has some idea of what a formula car should behave like.
just bought this and I think ive hit a sweetspot with the ffb now, thoroughly enjoying this the tt and the dtms!! thx s3!
Oh from the "Katzenberger Collection" ... FR 2 : Dared to have my very first rollout at Hungaro MP today, nice racing and much better than expected (guess my last ride with a Monoposto was with ISI's F1 99-02 - centuries ago ). Only thing I noticed is that the cars seem to hover a few inches beyond the surface (replay)... Nice Job s3....
One thing I like is that some of my contact rivals are just as slow in this as I am....that wont last long, I'm sure. MP is great fun.
btw, for anyone who wants to relieve constipation, take the fr2 out on the lakeview hillclimb track. with the default settings you can keep it in forth and fifth most of the time. though you do need to slow down here and there. but only a touch. it really feels much faster then it is. but then again, 160mph on a narrow road, its fast.
I know, I asked the question Why am I so slow, but I took this baby out in Spa and sitting at home I almost shat myself because it's so bloody fast. I just love it.
I hear you. Sometimes the FR2 gets a bit too much for my old brain to handle so I have to throw a GT3 car around the same track to relax and unwind
