Without knowing anything further about it I just say hat Kunos advised with release of 0.3 to use a default ini without any edits, due to changes in the code that is effected by such edits.

Just saying, I have no further knowledge on these things.

And regarding the frames, I could not care less whether it is 45 or 90 - if the visual impression is as smooth as it is over here, I can happily live with 45 fps in VR.

Maybe Kunos is aiming to set the sim for 45 as default anyway, due to the immense hardware hunger.

I am glad that I invested into having significant reserves when buying my new rig one year ago. Now is the time that pays off. And I did not any manual oveclocking at all, the Asus 1080TI OC is overclocked by factory default (and still cooler than a normal 1080TI :) )

I woould live with 45 FPS happily (unless the graphic isn't nice or good in my eyes) but it isn't locked. It is between 45 and 90 and thats really bad, because you get double picture left and right and my stomach won't do this again.

I think I will give it a try from time to time, but it isn't ready and not yet drivable for races as someone want to imply. It's only for trying and hoping, that it gets better and better.

I think you can just enter Ctrl-numpad 3 to activate ASW to be always on.

Lol, Guys.... I use the rift now for one year. I know how to enable the ASW.
Believe me or not: it doesn't work on ACC on mine. Checked with OTT. This is my problem. Not the key that I have to press.

Sorry, if I've missed an information in your posts.

Wasn't trying to solve you issue(s), rather, just replying to spyshagg's suggestion :D Looking back though, it does concern your issue and Ctrl-3 should lock ASW....at least in my case it does ;)

    And: no, it doesn't unfortunately.

Not sure why, but I might just be lucky as it's working fine here.

Still no triple support - mirrors are still looking crappy even on epic - for some reason I can't get the horizon locked any more... Just to name a few. As it seems Kunos puts time in following the roadmap only.
Useless as it is now. Added ten minutes to my 4 hrs. o_O

I read it, moved the slider to 100% and the horizon bounced like a superball...
As it turns out, I had to restart the game. It works now.

As for the mirrors: this is how they look while standing still (EPIC setting) ... Can't even see the right one due to the stretched side image. When driving it is even worse... (though the white dotted line then looks like a real line, like it should be)

Forgot to take one with some cars behind me...ugly as f...

Game needs A LOT of optimising too. Alone on track (despite having lowered most settings to high) I get 83 fps at best.
Heck, even rF2 as it is now gives me at least 40 FPS more (and looks better too).
