Browser Chrome (default) comes up when i launch the app, Then i click turn on server. Yes we can see the server within the game. And select the car. Then you get prompted to enter password. Then its : No response from server. Let me turn it on right now. If you care to try it from your connection ( being outside of this network ) Esr#3 test Pass : esr3 **I guess i should run some free content for this test lol
Sorry, cooking the kids dinner now . Browser but no join, maybe the TCP forwarding is OK but not UDP. Does the ping show in the browser
No ping. And thanks dude I do appreciate you trying to help out. Fyi i checked the PID now that the dedicated server app is on. And yes upd 60000/60002 and tcp 60001 are used by the app. heading to bed now. Night shift is over. almost 4am here. Getting the burning eyes feeling from starring at monitors all night. And if anyone reading this has any idea or tricks for me to try. Let me know either here or in private. Cause our friend @::SKRO:: would really want me to host tonight since he had many lag issue yesterday ( https://forum.sector3studios.com/in...us-driver-jump-in-here.787/page-10#post-15436 ) Leaving the Esr#3 test server running for now.
There's not much more I can suggest. Looks like UDP port forwarding isn't working. Have you tried (temporarily) putting the server in a DMZ?
Might be worth trying something like wireshark or udpmon on the server box to see if the packets are actually being sent to your server. These would, of course, be a little more complicated to set up

Servers are awful tonight, stuttering in qualifying is horrendous to the point of undriveable despite being 70+ fps and the cpu at only 50%. Some drivers need to read THIS before venturing online. The game is all over the place too, couldn't get in then could get in then got sent to desktop that wasn't desktop but a picture of my desktop that I could Alt+Tab to my desktop all the while with the engines running from the guys still running qualifying at RBR. Not in a good mood right now.
Same here...Sorry I can't be more constructive.. I can only re-iterate what Dave said.. I have plenty of fps over 100 in normal conditions, I run vsync, but it was basically unplayable tonight at times. I've had to turn it off for the risk of ruining other people's night.
This will happen as soon as DTM 2015 is released. The newest DTM content is exclusive for the Experience.
Still no go on a different machine, port forwarded to that machine and dmz (why not), no firewall on machine or Anti virus. No ping from the server in server list in game. error: No response from server, when connecting. When running port check am still getting : UPD : : Error: I could not see your service on ***.***.***.*** on port (60000) Reason: Connection refused Error: I could not see your service on ***.***.***.*** on port (60002) Reason: Connection refused TCP : Success: I can see your service on ***.***.***.*** on port (60001) Your ISP is not blocking port 60001 Frustrating to say the least.
I tried to launch the server and the browser as administrator. But nothing changed. Then i activated the User Administrator in Windows 7. I logged in with this account and then it works. So it seems to be a problem with the user rights in Windows 7. Strange that it doesn´t work with the option "Run as administrator". Maybe Sector3 can change something that we do not need such rights or has somebody a hint what i can do?
