Is there plans to add the ability to add AI racers into the mix? Would be great for a sudo co-op session where you and a mate act as team mates. Like in F1
Hi! I just wanted to say thank you to S3S for all the effort - really great game so far (got the best series of racing for my choice)!!! With the dedi-server one step closer to perfect but the only thing I would also like to see is the ability to add AI-drivers to the dedicated server race. That's what my friend and I are waiting for to start racing again in the WTCC (and all other classes). So please add this feature!!!!!!!!!
Heyho! Are there any problems right now about registering a new server? I'm just trying to do that, but it simply says that the registration failed. The logs show this:
Sector3, add the opportunity to restart the race in manual mode in Dedicated and the session switching manually
here the complete log: [INFO] 07:34:55 Extracting game files [INFO] 07:34:57 Launching Milkyway workers [INFO] 07:34:57 Starting frontend on http://localhost:8088/ [ERROR] 07:34:57 WebServer.Start Befor i changed my system it runs normal. Now: Win10 dedicated runs on admin rights
I'm also using Windows 10 and never had issue with it, Chrome is my default browser and as far as I know I don't even run dedicated exe with admin. Try to copy the dedicated exe into a different folder and run it from there without steam involved ( that's how I run the exe)
Have you tried to open chrome after the dedicated is open and enter the address manually? http://localhost:8088/ Also try to delete the sector 3 studio Ab folder in C:\Users\yourwindowsuser\AppData\Local\Sector3_Studios_AB
i tried now but i didn´t help, but in the log is a little bit more information: " [INFO] 08:19:35 1 Extracting game files [INFO] 08:19:37 1 Launching Milkyway workers [INFO] 08:19:37 1 Starting frontend on http://localhost:8088/ [ERROR] 08:19:37 1 WebServer.Start System.Net.HttpListenerException (0x80004005): Der Prozess kann nicht auf die Datei zugreifen, da sie von einem anderen Prozess verwendet wird bei ServiceStack.WebHost.Endpoints.Support.HttpListenerBase.Start(String urlBase, WaitCallback listenCallback) bei CommunityMultiplayer.Hosts.WebServer.Start()" ...so it says the File is already in use by another Process, but i don´t now wich File and wich Process
If you Google that error ( WebServer.Start System.Net.HttpListenerException(0x80004005) you will find some explanation it's not specific to raceroom dedicated. I think this one might help http://inedo.com/support/questions/2883
puhh..can´t find any helpful information yet i have to find the app which use the 8088 port too or a possibility to change the port for the r3e dedi ..but thanks
