Wow that is a cool script. Thanks. Much appreciated. Was just about to change all the cars xml manually . Life saver.
What's the difference compared to 10, 50, 2? I've just tried and it's difficult to tell what are the changes...
Can't remember which of the 3 that did what, but 1.00000000 is the lowest movement you can get. And 50 or 60.00000000 is the maximum amount of head movement. Between 1 and 2.00000000 is to small of a change to really notice.
Like mentioned in the OpenVR thread, they say its for Pitch, Yaw, Roll, respectively. Re 50 or 60 as the max, is that confirmed? Asking as I read some say they use 70,70,70 and another 90,90,90.
If it is Pitch yaw roll in that order it is the other way around.. Then 1 is max and 50 or 60 is minimum. I know I had the minimum setting on yaw. But yeah, 70 or 90 will not make any difference.
which came first? Pc gaming or Pc developers? the chicken or the egg? because I did all this mess in the 1990's and i'm still doing it today some 20 years later. Get a grip devs!
With the last update the sector 3 crew showed us, that they hear our voices But I struggle a bit. I've had the 10/50/2 setting and it was perfectly fine for me. Changed now all back to stock 0/0/0 settings. Can someone please tell me, where I have to place which value, to habe my old 10/50/2 back again? Yesterday the evening was too short to find the correct values and nothing, what I've done was as good as before and I've had real nausea after that.
https://forum.sector3studios.com/index.php?threads/28th-november-update.12068/page-2#post-164507 Check out those settings, afaik they are just menu sliders for those exact values you used to edit manually. Your old values indicate that you had a little world movement enabled, like it wasn't completely locked, is that correct? If so try setting these to 100 each and then lowering the second setting according to your preference.
Yes, tried that, but with not having 100% Percent luck. So I've decided to ask here. In the old versions it where 3 Values (copied/pasted and liked them without knowing what they stand for) an now we have two sliders
Right, there's no option for the yaw axis. But is that really sth you need to use? All that does is make the camera turn away from where you're driving (by giving in to the centrifugal force the drivers head experiences during turns). We experimented with it in testing and nobody found it to be having any desirable effect.
Could not play a few months and it seems that "orientation speed" in the cockpit xml does nothing?! Already tried the 2 sliders in the game and it did nothing. Is there a solution?
The sliders work pretty well for me. Are you on a new installation or are you using an older one with the xml files modified for each car? I'm on a new one and it works great.
