I'm really looking forward to this cup. Especially compared to the rF2 DLC. I have no doubt that this cup car will be equal to rF2. At least I hope so. Then maybe S397 will finally realize that other studios can also program good to very good simulations. See RRRE . [Offtopic off]
I hope they do the same thing Studio397 did: They initially released the GT3 Cup version (not ABS/TC) and then added the VLN version at no additional cost. What makes me doubt is that version (Porsche Carrera Cup Scandinavia). Will we finally have 3 versions of the same car?
Why 3 there will be current endurance spec and a sprint spec that should hopefully be introduced soon(tm) -> New set of trackside banners for the Porsche competitions has been patched today.
I have had nine races this week, with the cup car in acc, their car has no traction control but does have abs. The iracing cup car has no abs, but locking the brakes on the car is near impossible if one sets their pedal through to say 130%, giving you 70% in game. Unless your pedals are inverted than you go the other way. I think abs is a good option for the cup car in any game, because some people know what they are doing and are not effected abs or not. While others struggle with locking brakes are at a disadvantage, its not very fair in my opinion.
The 3 versions I was referring to are these: - Porsche Carrera Cup Scandinavia - Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland - Porsche Carrera Cup VLN version
There's rarely such a distiction in Raceroom. GT3 R i GT Masters run the same spec for example. AFAIK there will be an endurance spec and sprint spec. It makes no sense to make different spec for every competition.
I mainly drive the Cup Porsche in iRacing and you have to get used to it and find the point where the wheels lock up. It took me a very long time to do that, too. But if you use a brake pedal without Loadcell it is almost impossible to find the right dosage.
Meanwhile the Endurance-spec car has had a small polish to it's setup. I'm sure many of you are aware of the issues the sprint-spec car can have on the Nordschleife, so this may be of interest for you to see:
I think that's something to do with the stream quality, they're definitely louder than that in my headphones.
As far as I know the Porsche Carrera Cup Scandinavia is actually named as Porsche Carrera Cup Scandinavia eSport, so I would not bet that we will also get the car ingame, except of another "esport season"
Just to ask, are the physics/specs of the Porsche GT3 Cup and the Carrera Cup Deutschland, the same or different?
ok there was a tweak made a while back ; this cart was flipped to the endurance specs so tc/abs and a lot more suspension options the Carrera Cup Deutschland is the original spec , so no tc/abs and limited setup options Andi
