Yeah well, so much for hoping, we had some delay with the last pitbuilding, which only made it in a few days ago.
You rather have more time not that there is again a desaster and concentrated you on the release without problems also problems of store. Steam is also down.
there is no gp version as the track came to the game as part of the DTM experience , and so the licence was for that specific version of the track Andi
A partnership with MotorSport Vision would be awesome, they own Brands Hatch, Oulton Park, Snetterton, Cadwell Park and they've just acquired Donington Park.
great idea ... the us track equivalent is called: Speedway Motorsports, Inc: https://www.speedwaymotorsports.com/
So it is actually the same that stops them from improving the core game instead of releasing more and more so called content we have to pay for. That might work as long as there are enough customers who are thinking that more Tracks and more Cars are the most important thing in this Sim.
Reiza managed to get three British MSV tracks (including Brands Hatch) for their Brit Pack DLC, I'm not so sure if money is the real problem.
The both tracks of the Speedway Motorsports Inc.: the Charlotte & New Hampshire Motor Speedway (road course + oval) would be nice options for R3E.
Exactly this. If Reiza can get the Brands Hatch licence with their very limited resources then pretty much any other developer can too. Brands is in most racing games so there's no issue of exclusivity. So it seems the licence is available for a reasonable price to whoever wants it. My guess is there's no will from Raceroom to get the full Brands Hatch licence. It's a real shame when most of the circuit is already modelled and a real shame to deny R3E players a proper fans' favourite circuit to race on.
I have a feeling......naah i dont, but did think for a minute with the recent anouncement of the Swedish tracks that a few may be licensed long term just not to S3, maybe Simbin, might be miles off the mark or could of nailed it, but with the recent Simbin revival there may be a few tracks available through previous licenses yet to expire. Such a shame, Brands Gp...................
have you even read the newest announcements? and to be clear, since nobody seems to understand: People who design tracks and cars (the "so called" content) are not the people who do physics or core features. jesus....
... but at the end of the day it all comes down to an overall budget, no matter if feature or content development. ;-) Following the forum and the facebook channel it seems obvious that the majority of players just want content, content and even more content. I would guess the ones with features on top of their wishlist just make up 10 percent or so. So they are focussing on what most customers want and get their bucks with that. Can't see any wrong with that. However if they put a price tag on premium features like VR, Multiclass, Day/Night, Manual Pitstop, or whatsoever I would be happy to support them. On the other side this would open a new financing channel for getting more things done in the feature area. Just a thought...
If they would just focus on content, the other devs wouldn't have much to do. But those "feature"-devs wants some buck at the end of the month, too. So it would be wise to let them do some work for the money... IMO it is more the visibility of features that let us think there isn't much improvement. But if you have a look at the change-logs, you might get a different point of view. Feature-development is often hindered, as working parallel on different features affects each other. So it just needs time to get it done...
Following that discussion guess it's time to throw something new on the table to enjoy or to bother about , no matter what - just new ...there is a strong correlation between increasing chatter and crawling boredom Uhm, when will these tags finally trun green btw. ?
