Yeah I noticed this too with the gtr4 Cayman. When you turn in and shift up during cornering the back will step out. Like it does get too much torque while shifting.
This strange behaviour occurs with both the Cayman GT4 CS MR and the Cayman GT 4 CS. It seems that the dual-clutch-gearbox is simulated in a wrong way , thus resulting in sudden wheelspin for a fraction of a second while shifting from 1st to 2nd and from 2nd to 3rd and causing snapoff-oversteer in turns.
Even with no throttle applied, the cars has some wheelspin. As for now , both Caymans are basically undrivable.
About the new rank system : does only your competitions count for your rank or also your regular leaderboard challenges ?
This is a time attack ranking that is meant to replace the old system where each and every leaderboard used to be split in divisions. Now instead, each player has his own rank that follows him around. In order to gain rank you need to participate in competitions.
Did you change the differential setting, or any car setup setting? Could you possibly make a short clip of what's happening on your end and post it here?
Why competitions only? most wont participate in them purely because they feel there wasting there time, or don't have the time if it's a multiple event.
Because that's what those rankings will be used in. There's no real use for a ranking in a plain leaderboard environment, or is there?
No , I didn´t change anything in the setup. I will upload a clip as soon as I´m at home. Since I haven´t uploaded any kind of clips before, I suggest you just need the VCR-File?
Just fyi: I'm also getting the little wobble when shifting gears, especially when going from 2nd to 3rd, but it doesn't make the car spin without throttle applied on my end. That sounds very weird. I agree in general, both cars feature a PDK in real life, so gear changes should be a lot smoother. But even under load (throttle applied out of a turn) it will only upset the car slightly on my end, nothing I couldn't tackle with a little throttle lift or small counter steer. So when you say it's undriveable, that sounds odd. Video appreciated.
It even leaves short tire-traces on the tarmac for a fraction of a second. The Cayman GT 4 CS didn´t had this issue pre-patch.
Well I don't know, but then we all have our own profile showing performance during races and leaderboard performance and ranking so why would it not include this, just a query.
