new cars, old problems .... to the cry of banzai! (57/58 minutes) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aJeXA654CEc seriously ... it's a joke
One incident in 58 minutes? Totally agree, that's unrealistic. Having watched real GT4 races they should crash way more often. So I see your still not playing the game yourself but only scanning yt videos for every single mistake the AI ever made. What a hobby.
Indeed it is. He's STILL running with far too low AI, meaning he keeps punting them because they brake early, despite telling his audience that it is indeed too low. He keeps on and on about how important tweaking the FFB is in ISI-engine games, and then completely neglects to do so. He can't see his mirrors, and doesn't seem to think a virtual one might be a good idea. Plus, he attempts to race and watch chat at the same time, which is always a good idea. So I agree. This is a joke.
Has something changed on the FFB? because to me it feels as numb as it can get now, 1st tried the GT4's thought it might of been them, then tried other cars that I know well, and it's the same thing, really numb, springy and this notch at the center point of the wheel.
It's the lightest by far pre-BOP, but with 120kg ballast onboard as per real-world series it's around the same weight as the others in class.
J-F had too much eggnog when he said that. Actually he was looking at some internal numbers and confused them with the actual ones.
If it is it's a awful one, I've so many cars now and it's the same for all, there is a really strong center notch, barley any ffb and it's like every car has a over sensitive steering angle, even if you raise the dg's of rotation, something isn't right.
There's a small bug on the Timing bar, don't know if already present before today's update. After cycling off/with names/no names, the timer and position will be misaligned when using it without names (see screenshot bellow). When starting a session it'll show OK, but the problem only comes back when cycling again. If it matters, this was at 16:10 1680x1050.
Ha, seeing the Arrow in VR. That's new. Good for all new vr users. And it semse to have at least 45 fps in the loading scrrens in VR. No more stuttering and headache while staring at those wonderful pictures. Are these undocumented changes? Or am I on the wrong way?
Hello! I'm long overdue posting here, but what better time than after a huge update So far I'm really pleased with what I've tried of the update so far! I'm particularly impressed with the GT4's as they all feel so different but yet the lap times are surprisingly close. Great job on the BOP! The only slight anomaly for me is the Porsche Cayman GT4 CS MR which seems to be giving me some slightly unusual FFB through my G29. On braking into, and accelerating out of a corner it feels (and sounds!) like I have a flat tyre with a lot of shaking of the wheel around centre. I guess it could be ABS if I'm locking up on corner entry and TC if I'm spinning up on corner exit, but it feels unusually pronounced and isn't noticeable in either the KTM or the Lotus. I'm not suggesting there is something wrong, I'd just like to understand what I'm feeling. Anyway, hats off for the update and for continuing to pour some love on this amazing sim
